Has the ban appeal worked for anyone? Did anyone get a reply?
I got banned last week without so much as a reason. To the best of my knowledge it's probably due to a trainer I was running for a separate game, and I forgot to close it off. I appealed and have not gotten a reply yet. I admit it's my bad. However, a perma ban for something unrelated to the game seems very harsh. There was no previous warning and/or restrictions on the account before this happened.

Bungie has a very strict [url=https://www.bungie.net/7_Destiny-Account-Restrictions-and-Banning-Policies/en/Help/Article/11929]ban policy[/url] and a specific policy regarding[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/46101#] the use of third-party programs[/url] - such as trainers. It doesn't matter if it was for a different game, however, if you can provide clear, definitive proof that the ban was wrong, then your appeal should go through without trouble. If you haven't received a word within 7-14 business days, your appeal was most likely denied. Kind regards, Grammsay

I’ve seen two people over the course of 2 years get unbanned due to them providing definitive proof that what they were running was not a cheat but that’s the only time I’ve seen it. 99% of the recent ones are people admitting to trials cheating, having trainers from other games active, or network manipulation.

22 Repliesthis is so sad when something like that happen to us and nobody didn't care. they just said go and fill the appeal form, im sorry for you loss. this is disrespect. and unacceptable, because of some sort of incompatible files they perma ban without warning. its a sad story. hope they fix this kind of problems.

If you’ve still not received a reply that would indicate likeliness that your appeal was rejected. I don’t know the circumstances under which the appeal should be accepted, therefore I can offer no advice except the bare facts.

There are no additional warnings for use of restricted apps so it is a one and done.
