Bring back the nightfall aura please
Back in D1 and even in the beginning of D2 we use to have auras for completing the nightfall strike. Why exactly did you guys remove those? they looked nice please bring them back.

And a gold aura for raid guided games. We did our first ever raid guided game last week (last wish) and got the sweet emblem but no pretty head glow. Raid guided games are not that easy to pull off, a glow is not too much to ask for and might encourage more people to sherpa.

10 RepliesNo because in D1 nightfalls were much harder and rewarding to beat in vanilla D1, D2 they are super easy.

Exactly, Destiny did so much right, why did we not start from that point? Nightfall Autos with XP buffs till reset was perfect.

You have emblems with score and also seals/titles. I prefer it this way, unless they bring nightfall specific gear that, just like trials, shine more when a specific score is reached for example.

1 ReplyI would rather have to double xp and the bonus vanguard tokens from the activity from wearing the emblem. I tried to get a rapid hit/kill clip service revolver last season but the best I could get before I ran out of tokens was rangefinder/kill clip (and I used nearly 2000 tokens).

I agree. The blue flame one from D1 was the best and coolest looking one imo. But it should be from doing the master nf and up.

Because XP is basically pointless in this game, it wasn't necessary and would mainly be cosmetic. As we all know now cosmetic is eververses' objective - not actual gameplay.

The three static auras for the various activities took up too much space and had to be removed to make room for more content. /s

They don’t even give Emblems or Strike Exclusive Loot for Nightfalls anymore , much less an aura They say an enhancement core and some vanguard tokens is reward enough [spoiler]its not Bungie[/spoiler] -
1 ReplyI liked the auras for completing prestige raids or nightfalls. But the community complains. Less than 10% of players participate in raids. and even less than that can accomplish prestige content. Majority of the playerbase just plays casual crucible and run normal strikes.

They also gave us an XP boost but since nightfall is more of a farming simulator than anything; either by grinding materials/exotics or by doing it like 3 times for rewards. I doubt they'll do it, but it would be kewl
