Can I still get the ikelos Smg and Sg? I been playing Protocol for so long and have never found them! Anyone?
Can someone tell me is this still possible to get. Been playing escalation protocol for ages, I have never come across either the Ikelos SMG v1.0.1 or the SG v1.0.1

There's a roll every week and last week you can get all 3 of them, every week it'll refresh with the weekly update can another will be able to get. For instance except for weeks like last week, if you get a SMG in Protocol it'll be the only weapon you'll get this week. BTW they might need too much time on protocol to get and it all depends on your luck so there's no other way that can improve your drop rate. The only thing you can do is again and again till you get the weapon in protocol for this week.

Edited by Demon_XXVII: 9/27/2020 7:01:49 AMThis week (until Tuesday 29th Sept reset) is all three weapons in EP (v1.0.1 variants) If you need them for the Seal/Triumph etc - best way is to just beat level 7, then restart it quickly from level 6 to complete it again and again etc (If you just want the [b]Ikelos[/b] weapons for 1360, then focus the Umbral engrams for v1.0.2 variants) Check out this chaps post https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/257174724/0/0 He puts up an infographic (links in the post), showing which loot/weapons drop each week for various events

They're still possible to get, but it will take a bit of luck unfortunately. I'm working on Wayfarer and lucked into the SMG after MANY rounds of EP. Just keep trying.

Yes u can. If u don't know they only drop from LV 7 boss kill and it's about 1 in 15 chance. That's just a guess. The odds may be worse

1 ReplyThe weapons are on a rotation. On the 4th week of the rotation all three weapons can drop.

1 ReplyWhy not focus umbral engrams for the smg instead, it's way easier and you can farm rolls. Completing the prophecy dungeon has a decent chance of dropping the shotgun.

They are very rare, and they only drop from the Wave 7 boss. Just gotta get lucky really 😥

1 Reply::The old versions are being sunset, and the drop rate for weapons from Escalation Protocol is low-to-none as it stands. Take everyone's word for it, you're far better off with the V2 variants. Especially since they don't have fixed perks.::

You can still get the weapons, but they are on a weekly rotation. Looking up what week the rotation is on is the best way to find out. The ones you get from Escalation Protocol are also yea 1 versions of the weapons and will not have random roles. To get random roles, acquire the weapons from the prismatic recaster after completing the quest for them on the planets (I forget the name of the quest sorry).

2 RepliesCheck boss drops weekly rotation first. I can only confirm you definitely can still get the Sniper via EP, so assume the others are still dropping unless bugged. Easier targeted farming is via Umbrals for the SMG.

Yeah, the shotty still drops. I had one drop last week and the sniper week before.

I've done 90+ and have only gotten the smg. It's a terrible design have stuff drop from the boss and not the chest. I think that is what the real issue is.

Do the new planetary bounties and you get a special engram that drops the smg, you can also get the smg from those drifter engrams. The handcannon though is only from the new dungeon. The old versions do still drop from escalation protocol but drop rates are horrible.
