So I’ve most likely solved what caused the ban. Every time I recreate the issue and quit destiny 2 via task manager I get a security violation message or something like that. I knew it!

Update: No response. Maybe no one wants to look into my case. Maybe pandemic limitations for security team. Who knows. I tried making a new account solely for D2 but I just couldn’t do it. It’s just not the same. The dialogue is different due to it not being a character ported from D1. I can’t earn half the stuff I had. Look at me ramble... I just wanna be heard. I really didn’t do anything wrong... Everything I said is true. I’d say and explain everything under oath in court if I had to. Not going that route. Not saying I will. I’d go that far though. Polygraph even. Now it breaks my heart every time I drink out of this little Bungie mug I bought...

Any luck so far? I was also banned last weekend suddenly, and am absolutely not an online cheater either. My incredibly average and uninteresting game/match/activity records are open for scrutiny. I have an appeal filed (no idea if it's been reviewed, is under review, or is denied). I sent some updates to the appeal with more information/points, and I get a "your case has been updated" note each time, but I am not sure if this occurs even if the case has been closed. The lack of transparency in the appeals process is proving to be a terrible experience, especially considering a sizeable portion of the customers seeking an appeal in the first place [b]need help or clarifications, and can't get it anywhere else.[/b] And geez, the simple fact is that I know I have not cheated or negatively impacted the gameplay experiences of other players (at least outside of the design of the game) either. It's been a depressing week, and I'm still not quite sure what I will do. I'm sick to my stomach at the wrongful account ban - lost over a thousand in spending and equal that in hours over BNet and Steam combined. All over a... misundersanding? Wrongful judgment? Bad-faith player reporting? I don't even know! I have paragraphs typed up, but it would be hijacking your post. I hope you at least got some kind of update by now. I know I haven't. Many posts online suggest they have not either, after months.

Wait wait wait... could it have been from the glitch where you switch your weapon right as you deposit the bloom and you can keep depositing it? That’s a thing. That’s a glitch. Maybe someone thought I was cheating.

I play with shxgy all the time and he spends way too much money and time from being a beta D1 player and beta D2 player. He also pre-ordered beyond light months ago. If his account doesn't get unbanned, bungie is no better than Activision.

I have played with shxgy for about 2 years now. He wouldn't ever put his account in any type of harms way. I've played with him everyday for the past month and he has not done anything fishy. His computer has been having issues maybe destiny picked up something due to the issues. He was the person that helped me through almost every raid and he is the only reason I bought forsaken and shadowkeep.

These include but not limited to, trainers, aimbots, auto-fire, mods, graphics hacks, anything that injects code into games, debuggers for programing, even some viruses. any of these could cause a ban, [b]even if not destiny 2 specific.[/b] There has also been an increase in bans due to [i]Network Manipulation[/i]. These are usually caused by you or a member of your pre-made fireteam doing something... less than honorable behind the scenes of your matches. If it was not you, then it was a member of your team and Bungie has no real way to determine how much or little you knew about the player who was doing it, but it should have been obvious is that something fishy was going on. One of the biggest indicators of network manipulation and the largest red flag to bail out of your team is when your enemy loses 1 or more players in numerous matches.
