Curious for everyone's opinion on which two stats they prefer to max out on a hunter build for pve. Right now I'm running max resilience and strength.

Unless you need high strength for an specific goal you should be targeting 100 recov and 100 mobility. It's useless to max out resilience.

Edited by Swiftlock: 9/27/2020 1:29:50 AMResilience is worth spit in endgame PvE. If Bungie decides that enemies should tear through you like tissue paper, then they will. Max Recovery will save you from dying WAY more times than Resillience ever will. As for your second stat, Mobility is the big winner here. Having a super low cooldown on dodge synergizes with: - Wormhusk Crown - Graviton Forfeit + Vanishing Step - Dragon's Shadow - The Bombardiers - The Sixth Coyote - Frost-EE5 - Gemini Jester - Deadly Reach - Lightning Reflexes - Gambler's Dodge for instant melee recharge - Marksman's Dodge for instant reloads - a bunch of other crap Even Aeon Swift becomes a meme support option when you can spam dodges every few seconds. That's how ridiculous mobility is for Hunters.

A good build would be the newly released Traveler's Chosen with maxed Intellect and Recovery used on bottom tree Nightstalker. Invis and nades for days 😎

Hunter for PvE you say. One thing I can tell you. Resilience is basically useless. Esoterickk made a great video about damage resistances that shows how trash it really is. Strength is useless on a hunter aswell, because gamblers dodge. There’s no reason to want high strength on a hunter, unless you only ever use marksman’s dodge. Personally, Recov, Mobility, Intellect, and Discipline are the only stats that are actually worthwhile.
