pretty much says it in the title.
So I used the PC move page to move over my bungie account to steam. Of course only after which realizing that I just connected the wrong account, which doesn't have any playtime on destiny over to my steam account. then I logged in to the correct account and tried to move all my characters and stuff over, but got the notification that I had already moved a bungie account to this steam account and that I could create another steam account and put it on that. I'd really rather not have to log onto a different steam account just to play Destiny
Again the account I did move has nothing in Destiny 2 so its not like I'm trying to get extra stuff from a duplicate account. I'm just dumb and didn't pay attention.

Hey there! On the browser, go to bungie.net and navigate to Settings > Accounts and Linking to unlink your Steam account. You cannot unlink an account while signed onto it. You can then proceed to link the other Steam account that has not been used in the migration. Please note that PC Move is a one time transfer. Once you've transferred your battle.net account to your Steam account, you're stuck with that Steam account. You will either have to play D2 using the account you transferred your data to, or start from scratch on the Steam account you originally were supposed to use.

go to the cross save page https://www.bungie.net/7/en/CrossSave and deactivate it, then proceed with new one!

You should be able to remove an account from crosssave then add to the correct account.
