Got reaper massacre medals finally done today and the title as well. One tip: against vex especially at nessus map you can get massacre pretty easily with only using telesto, when shooting minotaurs with it (explosion kills weaker ads) and telesto reloads itself with multikills, letting you keep spamming it. Use fusion rifle scavenger and reserves and light reactor. You will get the super quickly. I was able to get two medals in single game, one with telesto during 2nd wave and one with bottom tree dawnblade during 3rd wave on that map.

I did it solo as well. This season actually. So here's some tips. Invader: Cheese weapons. You may use them. There is no such thing as honor when going for Reckoner. Sentry: Sometimes you will need to camp the bank. This is an unavoidable truth. Collector: Half-banked is much easier to get if you're losing due to your bank being drained. Thankfully, most teammates can be pretty hopeless at killing blockers, so you can just let the blockers drink your motes a bit as you collect. Reaper: The hardest one. Save this one for last. The Massacre medals? Broken. Yeah, hard to believe, I know. If you have better internet, then these medals drop just fine. If you're like me and live in the middle of nowhere, brace yourself for hell getting these. You can get all the kills in half the time and still have to pray for the medal to pop up. I recommend striker titan with Armamentarium and pulse grenades for this. Running top tree striker has the same effect of granting an extra grenade if you want to save an exotic slot. I personally used top tree with Skullfort. Having max reaper aura allows you to recover grenade energy on major kills, and since majors are more common than any other enemy type, you get almost unlimited grenades. Run Falling Guillotine with dual enhanced sword scavenger and heavy ammo finisher as well. This will give you unlimited sword ammo to combo with your grenades as well. Bonus Advice: If you can't make anymore progress in a game and are already crushing your opponent, you can certainly dip. Heck, if you are losing and can't make anymore progress, you may dip. Is it rude? Yes, but Reckoner already takes an eternity and a half. The heavy ammo setup I used for Reaper also works for Collector and Sentry if you are comfortable in the heat of things, but Sentry also works well with Truth to bully Invaders. If you have armor sets for all characters, feel free to use multiple characters. They all have something they are good at. Edit: Forgot Riskrunner. If you do the double-pulse grenade setup, Riskrunner can be permanently active. How did I forget something so important to my original loadout? No idea.

It kinda removes some frustration from gambit. It’s easier to get the medals if your team is crap. Losing almost becomes the ideal scenario. But if you win, that’s alright too.

Good luck. If you are serious about the grind, it actually is not that bad, unfortunately, you need to play in a very specific way which isn't always fun. Here are some tips from my mostly solo run at the title. Sentry: Camp by the bank, simple as that. It's unfortunate as it means you aren't helping your team, but this is the most efficient way to get it done. In fact, if your team is doing worse, it is better for you since you will get to kill more blockers. Shotgun and Sword are great for insta-killing blockers, Jotunn is pretty good as well. Invader: Whenever you are close to an invade, make sure you are on your way to the portal. Don't be afraid to use cheesy weapons. Remember 1K Voices counts as a Fusion Rifle. For the motes drained, Titan Bubble is the most effective, but you can also scare the enemy team away with any super. Similar to Sentry, the worse your team is doing, the better it is for you, meaning more invades during the Primeval phase. Reaper: [b][u]RUN DOUBLE SPECIAL![/u][/b] I promise you will not regret it, I prefer Jotunn/Mountaintop, but you can use whatever works for you. With the +6 Reaper perk, you basically get full special ammo for each multi-kill. If you hear there is a High Value Target, drop everything you are doing and kill it. For Massacre medals, use a grenade that kills multiple enemies and spam Jotunn or whatever special you are using. I did it on Middle Tree Sentinel (with Synthoceps) and could get Massacre medals relatively easily. Top Tree Stormcaller (with Crown of Tempest) and Top Tree Arcstrider (with Raiden Flux) would be my top picks for other classes. Collector: I actually found this one to be harder than Reaper solo, people tend to want to grab motes more than anything for some reason. I recommend close combat weapons so you can immediately grab the motes. Roaming Supers are also really great for mote collection. General: Have all sets ready to switch on based on the circumstances of the situation. As an example, you need 50 High Value Targets, if you are working on Sentry and hear a HVT spawn, quickly switch to your Reaper set and kill the HVT. You can also switch armor right before you win if you need wins on a certain character. Also pay attention to who is on your team. If you have a Reaper and Collector on your team, maybe switch to Sentry or Invader so you are not competing for objectives. Most importantly: Don't burn yourself out. Reckoner is a MASSIVE grind. Take it one day at a time, you got this!

I miss 5 massacre medals from the title. Those are painfully hard to get. I recorded couple of videos and swear that I did kill 12 - 15 enemies within tume limit, but game doesn’t always seem to register it. It is freaking frustrating. Other parts are just good old grind with less RNG.

I did mine solo. Honestly it's just putting the hours in. 80% of it is a straight forward grind, if you haven't yet I'd take it as the opportunity to do the pinnacle/ritual weapons you still need. The worst bit for me was the massacre medals.... that in a pug is a nightmare. Good luck man ^^

You chose a VERY bad time to get it. I’ve played gambit since season of the drifter was out and I earned the reckoner title in season of dawn I think. I don’t think you’ll have NEARLY enough time to get it.
