Drop rates on strike catalysts
Anyone still gets these?
I do love the merciless and am trying to get the catalyst for ages.
It just will not drop.
Getting burned out here.

Just do nightfall ordeals and don’t expect it to drop then you’ll get it eventually. I got both rat king and ace of spades catalyst from one nightfall ordeal so ordeals work best. Specially the higher o level ones since they drop exotics more often including catalysts

3 RepliesI got the merciless catalyst on my last run of lake of shadows NF before reset. Forgot it even had one lol.

I wouldn't try and grid out getting catalysts. They will fall if you run a few strikes each week. Maybe even take 3 or 4 days off, then you'll luck will go up. If you insist on grinding do Lake of Shadows on EDZ. It's a fun strike and quick. Many people can speed run and will pull you to the boss.

1 ReplyI believe they're like a 5% chance, maybe even less. I feel most catalysts are more rare than exotics are.

1 ReplyGot the trinity ghoul catalyst yesterday. And got the lord of wolves catalyst a few days prior to that. And I have done maybe 10 strikes in that time frame. So it is just a matter of luck.
