Pinnacle challenges not rewarding pinnacle gear(22/09/2020)
So I don't know if this is affecting anyone else since I haven't seen any posts about it. I am a new player, joined not even 3 months ago and I barely have 500 hours under my belt. Today after the weekly reset I started doing my pinnacle grind for the week on my hunter(my main) and I noticed that after completing 2 of the pinnalce challenges, I didn't get any pinnacle gear. The first one I completed was the 3 strikes with a subclass matching the elemental since. From this I got a 1058 heavy grenade launcher and I found it weird since I already had a weapon on the heavy slot that had that same power level(my falling guillotine). Still I used it to infise my Wendigo and moved on. Now I just finished a second challenge(3 gambit matches, I played gambit prime for it) and got as a drop a helmet at 1058 power. This is what made me create this post since I already have a helmet at 1059 power and I was using it at the time of getting the "pinnacle". Did a bug make it past the update that happened earlier today?

Edited by J-ToKeZ: 9/22/2020 11:53:22 PMi finished 4 matches in crusible and did the 3 vanguard playlist and did not recive pinacle gear. i dont mean i got 1 of the same value of the hieght i already had . i mean i got no drop at all this week is bugged for me. this has never happened befor im light powerlevel1065 1052 + 13

Not bugged. Rewards go based off your overall power, not just that for the slot the reward is for.

Rng is random, you can get duplicates of the same type of gear for 4 weeks straight. Good luck.
