I personally don’t need any of the offers from Rahool, can the people who have everything get something else? Like the exotic catalyst of one of the offers? Or one of the missing catalysts they don’t have from the game?
-
Is mainly targeted for those players who couldn't get seasonal weapons during their respective season. Even though is mainly for them you can use it to buy an extra fated engram with xur.
-
3 RepliesGo to xur.
-
2 RepliesIts a free exotic, why even complain? Its really weird and disrespectful
-
It's not meant for those of us that have everything, it's meant to help people catch up who missed out. Keep hold of it, if you skip a season you'll be able to get that season's exotic when you come back on. Not everything is meant for everyone.
-
34 RepliesThis wasn't about you. This was about honoring a lost friend and co-worker, in a way that he would have found meaningful. The cypher was just a token to get the community to participate in it.
-
You aren’t even complaining, just bringing the topic up. Idk why people are mad. It would be a better tribute if it helped more players.
-
Don't see the problem with this guys comment. It's not about "quest" or Matt, it's about the cipher itself. It is useless for those that have all the non raid exotics.. The purpose for the "quest' is a fine tribute and I would've been happy with nothing more than a thank you to Matt at the end.
-
Arrived for the comments and was not disappointed. 🍻

18 RepliesBungie: *Makes tribute quest for someone who passed away* Players: This reward sucks f*** you Bungo!
-
3 RepliesIt's not about you or a valid point. It's about the Karen's and their self given right to be outraged for no reason.

I get what your saying trust me it sucks some one died, idk why everyone is taking it straight to the heart. That item sucked before the quest came out to people who don’t need it....

Edited by Emurinus: 9/23/2020 1:35:33 PMMy only problem with the quest is that you can't hold multiple ciphers even if you vault one, and that's not even the quest's fault.

Little quest, add small tribute at tower when done, for people to see for years.
-
3 RepliesEdited by Sweet Lew 88: 9/23/2020 2:58:25 PMIf you play a lot, it is almost useless. It's just a catch-up mechanic. Similar to xur....
-
It’s useful if a player missed or skipped a season. Season of the worthy was probably a season a few players have missed since seraph towers was a thing.
-
8 RepliesPeople are saying the exotic you get from xur with it has a high stat roll chance, I can’t confirm this though.
-
2 RepliesYou know there's a thing called saving it? You don't have to spend everything you get. I hope you realize just useful that exotic cipher may be next year for an extra exotic at Xur to get a new one or to have for a missed exotic then sold at Rahool.
-
use the cipher on xur for an extra fated engram
-
If all you care about is the reward for a tribute quest then you’ve already lost my interest.
-
1 ReplyThe actual "FAIL" about this little quest, was that loot should not of been an offering of any type... IMO Bungie, yet again IMO you got it wrong......... Lets just have a nice little touch of remembrance and leave it at that.
-
Edited by Xeno: 9/23/2020 3:47:32 PMOkay. First of all, it's not useless to everyone. I havent gotten erianas, devils, and leviathans because I didn't play much those seasons. I'm sure there's others like me. Second of all, this was a quest to honor a man who unfortunately passed away. Do not think that this quest was made to give everyone loot. It wasn't. That's not the point at all. So don't go crying that you didn't get what you wanted.
-
5 RepliesEdited by Centaur: 9/23/2020 12:27:06 PMit doesnt matter. the point of the quest was to commemorate the passing of an OG bungie dev, not to give you loot. Edit: im sorry, are you talking about exotic cyphers in general or just the one you got from the recent mission? I assumed that you were talking about the quest because i've seen so many people complain and it started getting on my nerves.
-
3 RepliesI wish I could use the one I have now so that I can get fourth horseman or heir apparent because I didn't play last season. It also says you can use it at Xur, but I check his offerings and there's nothing that costs any Ciphers to my knowledge
-
You can use it to gety an extra exotic random drop from xur however, forcing a player to take an exotic to replace the cypher they currently have is not a reward. There is no reason we shoudln't be able to hold on to our materials and spend them when or if we choose and not be limited by Bungies economy. As usual, bungie seriously doesn't understand player choices.
