Warframe has sucked me back in
I was free of the game after Fortuna came out, now a year later and HoD is finally out and I got pulled straight back in.
Anyone else currently playing it? What are your thoughts on the new expansion/frames/primes?

No. But I feel it tugging at my wallet. It wants me to spend money. Seriously get off that game and escape while you can. The first 100 hours is enough.

1 ReplyI reinstalled it, but I still haven't gotten through the slog of unlocking all the planets or whatever to get to all that story content. So I got bored and did other things.

I'm back in for now. Havent touched HoD yet, or the Plains of Venus for that matter... Wisp seems like an absolute beast of a frame though, I built Mesa Prime and I see my girl Saryn is still hogging all the kills lmao

It’s too much of a grind. I can’t get back into it because I know I’ll spend most of my time doing tedious shit to get cool loot to do more tedious shit which makes the cool loot less cool. That, or I’ll be doing tedious shit to unlock new activities which are just as tedious as the tedious shit I did to get there.

I grinded and farmed through the necessary boring af chor- er, I mean "tasks" und "missions" required to get to Entrati rank 3, slapped Nidus' Larva ability on Saryn, Mesa, Mag and Khora and proceeded to call it a month. I did try getting Xaku sys, since it's the last part I need (got the other two passively while doing bounties for mother tokens) I figured, "why not?" Well, the frame is shit and parts that are locked behind bounties have been infuriating since PoE, so -blam!- that. Haven't played since.

I lowkey bought everything in the Dojo in a vain attempt to get to Mr 13, so I can obtain the Trumna. I then realized everything needs Fieldron (For a total of 115, I think), and 13 Forma. I’m slowly gaining the resources, and building whatever I can. I also finally got Vauban Prime, and I’ve got Chroma and Atlas cooking. I plan to get them to 30, and see if I like them. If I don’t, then they get to sit in my inventory for all eternity. [spoiler]Hecking Spitfires[/spoiler]

Tbh my favorite thing about HoD was how it intergrated the Derilect. If I remember correctly, I saw something about the derilect icon moving close to where Deimos is, and Deimos has the old derilect missions. Which means the Derilect crashed INTO Deimos. I just really like that.
