Insane Postmaster issue with Ascendant Shards and Enhacement Prisms - Fix this shit asap

When you have 10 Ascendant Shards and 50 Prisms in your inventory, every additional shard and prism gets moved to the postmaster ,which is fine (although you should be able to carry way more materials, but whatever). Now imagine you have 50 Prisms and 10 Shards at your Postmaster, and the postmaster is full. Logic would tell you that every item you get is lost because your postmaster is full, right. Nope. If you happen to get a Legendary engram and a umbral engram, both Prisms and Shards get deleted!!! and are being replaced by any new item. WTF is this. It only happens to shards and prisms. Fix this shit asap Bungie, whats the point of collecting materials if you simply replace them at the postmaster. Just lost 10 golfballs and 50 prisms for no reason. -blam!-ng hell. That's -blam!-n ridiculous.

And this is the answer to everything.. "use better inventory management" I'm calling bs... I'm calling it poor game design.. The game should never delete end game materials to make space for a blue armor piece / weapon or legendary engrams. So for people to continually just say that it's the user's fault is lazy. There is no reason why bungie can't make this easier to manage.. 1. Don't let people acquire extra materials if it isn't the game's intention to let them keep them.. 2. update your system to be just a bit smarter so that the pinnacle of materials isnt deleted for a piece of blue gear. Just lazy and stupid design.

Well, no. Logic will tell me that the postmaster is NOT storage and I should never leave anything in there that I don't want to lose.

  • As has been said since the start of D1, the postmaster is not to be used for storage. Anything you leave in there, you risk losing due to it getting pushed out by other items. If it's something you want to keep, do not leave it in the postmaster.

    • It's your own fault for allowing your post master to fill up. I don't even understand why people keep complaining about this. It's like drinking a pint of vinegar then moaning at the vinegar manufacturers that they made vinegar.

      • Why do you need 10 shards and 50 prisms? Why not use some of those to free up space? Everything gets pushed out of the postmaster. I have lost so much raid gear because they get pushed out by blues. I believe its the order received in the post master. So first in first out. Been like that since D1
