Pro tip to have a infinite number of Ascendant Shards and Prisms going into Beyond Light
You can only have a max of 20 Ascendant Shards and 100 Enhancement prisms. The trick is once you have the max number. Pull out trash exotics from collections. Masterwork them and store them in your vaults for Beyond Light. When Beyond Light drops dismantle if needed to get Ascendant Shards and prisms.
Goodluck mates and have fun farming this week's double loot lake of shadow.
Btw what's your highest exotic stat drop you've gotten from lake of shadow?
Mind so far is Lucky Raspberry with a 67 stat distribution. I seen a 71 sixth coyote from a friend.

Actually you can have 40 golf balls and 200 prisms. Stack 50 prisms and 10 golf balls on all 3 toons at post MASTER. My highest is a 69 stat

Who cares, they will sunset ascendant shards and enhancement cores and introduce another BS currency. This entire game is boring but recycled garbage shoved down your throat every 3 months.

4 RepliesIf you really think that your shards and prisms will be worth anything in beyond light you are deluded. They will introduce a new level up system or currency to stop people maxing out quickly. Remember the grind at the launch of a new yr is always horrific.

Better to masterwork blues. You can pull them out of collections and can dismantle them for a better return rate.

8 RepliesYou're wrong right off the bat. You can have 40 Ascendant Shards and 200 prisms stored. People can do whatever they want and I know it's slow right now, but you only need 45 shards to masterwork 3 full sets per character and let's be honest, you're not actually going to. - Also, this season's armor will be able to hold next season's mods so technically you don't even "need" to masterwork anything next season. - Also, I doubt there's going to more than 1-2 new armor exotics per character. Chances of them being meta, or you getting a "god roll" you want to masterwork right away are roughly zero. - Also, you're still going to be playing the game and gaining materials anyway when Beyond Light comes out. Get over the OCD hoarder nonsense and don't be ridiculous chasing diminishing returns for no good reason. Just my 2 cents.

Reading between the lines a little bit, they're giving double nf rewards this week, which will enable people to mw their favourite stuff. They're about to remove all mw materials and introduce a new system.

When you reach max stored mats just make sure to do pit boss each week and keep the armor in the vault. That’s core and prisms saved for when you need them.

I fear Bungie is soon changing the economy completely. Perhaps.. That’s why they haven’t been open what happens to planetary mats etc. Most hardcore players have also already MW their exotics, where as real-life limited don’t care/never can or will—> and content creators need new stuff. Wouldn’t be surprised to soon hear about exotics sunsetting...

5 Replies👍🏻, Good to know! I broke down a 68 stats score exotic, think it was raiden’s flux yesterday, solely because the bulk of the stats were in resilience and strength 😑. Now if it had 20 points in Mobility, Recovery and Intellect, and the last 8 points across discipline,resilience and strength I would have kept it. Hard getting the stats you want precisely.
