The game is way too dark

The game is way to dark. I tried messing with the brightness and the hdr black point settings, but It’s still near pitch black in some of the darker areas. I read around online and saw that the hdr is real wacky in destiny so I switched down to 1440p from 4K UHD. This alleviated the issue is a very small amount, but it’s still a giant pain not being able to see most of the stuff in these darker mission. Is there anything I can do to help fix this issue? Please and thanks for your time

  • I have same setup and for me it was a strike with a darker room that you have a light that shows you the entrance to another room but the light was not showing i had move around until i was lucky to enter the other room which was fine. Hard to explain but the lighted up entrance had no light . It was the strike you have to kill the giant eye lol i forget name as i rarely see that one.

  • Hey there. Thanks for your report. HDR Brightness/Darkness is based on your SDR settings. While we investigate this issue, following these steps should improve your experience: 1. Quit D2 2. Turn off HDR in console settings 3. Start D2. In Settings, set the Brightness to "4" 4. Quit D2 5. Turn on HDR in console settings 6. Start D2. In Settings, follow the instructions to set the HDR White Point to taste. 7. Then set the HDR Black Point in the exact middle (49-50 clicks on either side).
