Yes, please. 120 FPS is an absolute must for PS5 and/or Series X. At the very least for crucible matches. And if you guys think it's not possible, you're just wrong. My 1080 ti/8700k computer is roughly equal to these systems, and I EASILY get 120 FPS average at max settings in multiplayer. PVE content, it's harder to stay consistent, but crucible definitely. There is literally zero reason for bungie to not implement a performance "FPS favored" mode for people that play on smaller 1080p screens with higher refresh rates, which a lot of people do, myself included.

Ideally there would be an option in every game’s settings between high framerate 1080p and 60fps 4k. But you know. Console developers. So that’s never happening.

7 RepliesMaybe they will just stick with 60 fps. Its probably most common for console players to use a TV as a monitor (i do). In order to get 120fps i think you need a TV that can do 120hz (i could be wrong).

Edited by TheArtist: 9/17/2020 9:18:14 PM60 fps 4K. 1080p doesn’t look good on big TVs and super high frame rates add little to the experience when you’re 8 feet away from the image. While burning up massive amounts of computing power that can be used for other things. The consoles know their markets and what is of value to them.

60fps 4k

It won’t be hard, considering D2 is really a PS3/Xbox 360 era game. I can literally run it on a 2011 laptop with frame rates around 50fps.

60fps.
