How is it legal for bungie to take away mars and other paid DLC? Isn’t this “Bait And Switch” which is an illegal and punishable act?

as a live service game, the TOS states they can remove content at any time. Plus, most live service games do this (FFXIV, WOW). Bungie aren’t stating the content won’t return. The DCV allows for much more efficient revamping of destinations and content. They will have a cycle of destinations and raids every year that will always be new and improved to fit the current game.

Like any online game server that went down? Honestly the thought did cross my mind as well, but seriously... would we rather they created Destiny 3 and start everything all over again?

It’s legal because you agree to it when you first load up the game or after a significant update you have to agree to the TOS again.

the way the terms of service are written is that we don’t own anything only have a license to play it
