Hello!
So I quite after forsaken came out on playstation. Now that I have a Xbox, I'm getting back into the game. I have found a few issues though.
Forsaken isn't enabled on my xbox version. That sucks. I spent monies on this and now can't even use it.
I have pre-ordered beyond light, but can't play any of the expansion stuff. Do I need to spend even more money to get the expansions?

So good news is that all the expansions are on gamepass. Which is awesome! Yay xbox!

Hey there! DLC licenses do not transfer across platforms with Cross Save, as they're controlled by the platforms they're purchased on. This is stated in the Cross Save FAQ.
Do my previous game purchases transfer across platforms? Destiny 2 expansions (ex: Forsaken, Shadowkeep) do not transfer between platforms with Cross Save. Destiny 2 Season Passes (ex: Season of the Undying) do move between platforms on the characters they were redeemed on.
Curse of Osiris and Warmind are free for all players. You just need to buy paid expansions such as Forsaken, Shadowkeep, and Beyond Light. Each expansion has their own content and is not required to buy the previous expansion.

5 RepliesSince Forsaken, all the expansions are individual purchases, and owning the previous expansions is not required to access the current content.
