I joined a group to play the TOO at Chinese ofiicial TEAM-UP platform. After 2~3 competetions, I found something wrong with one teammate, he seems like a hacker. I immediately quit the group, what can i do to prevent from banning by BUNGIE?
This is the hacker's DESTINYTRACKER data

1 ReplyAllo there, I've removed the link to the potential hacking player as you're not allowed to name and shame. Instead you need to report them either in game or via the report cheater form which I've linked below. (Please note at the time of posting this, the forms are currently having an issue and may not load but keep the info handy and report when they're fixed) Unfortunately there's no info on what will get you banned, if you left and reported them right away then that works in your favour as then you only benefitted slightly from that user. If you played a good few games with them then you could face being banned due to guilt by association. However if the ban hammer does hit you then you can appeal it which I've also linked below. Cheater report form: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=13967 Contact Form: Appeal Ban or Restriction article found here. Please note that, as mentioned in the article, there is no guarantee for a response, nor is there a guarantee that your ban or restriction will be overturned. For more information on Bungie's policy regarding bans and restrictions, please review the policy here

5 RepliesTheir statement was that you have to report them and leave the group but "If you run flawless with them the banhammer will hit you as well". It kinda seems like you are only getting banned if you keep running with them without doing anything.
