traction mod should be intrinsic
title.
It sucks to have to use a mod slot all the time on my boots just to turn faster on controller.
We’ve killed gods multiple times, and we can’t sprint right?

11 RepliesNope, I will literally quit the game !! But you can make it cheaper or even 0 cost if it helps you. But not everyone can play with it.

At least you’ve got the traction mod, never dropped for me. . Literally made me quit Destiny for most of this year. Can’t believe there’s a ‘top tier’ FPS in 2020 without the option to set ADS and normal sensitivity separately. Blows my mind.

9 RepliesTraction is one of those mods that I need to have on at all times. For me the sprinting turn speed is just too slow and I feel like a brick without it. Making it intrinsic, however, is probably a bad idea. As others have pointed out some prefer the normal speed, so instead I would much rather see sprinting turn speed become an option in our settings. That would seem fair to me and maybe I'll finally be able to use some other leg mods for once.

11 RepliesTurn faster? Nah, you mean "turn normally". No other fps I've ever played puts as much resistance against a player trying to turn as D2. I'm pretty sure it wasn't like that in D1 either, so what gives Bungie?

it is for me on console; IE its the first thing I equip when I get new boots because otherwise its like running thru molasses. What's frustrating is PC gets it by default and if they ADD traction it gets even more godly. Console players NEED it to move "normally"

Nah, just make it neutral and cost 0 energy and sit in that 2nd set of perks.

What about: - An extra mod slot comprised of only two choices - Traction normal - 2 energy cost - Works as normal giving sprint turn radius + mobility buffs - Traction minus - 1 energy cost - no sprint turn radius but mobility boost given Compromise.

Remember when bungie fixed the slide then run bug with addition of an artifact instead of just fixing it back in D1? Well traction mod is the same thing we need to wear and it is intentional.

7 RepliesI have 100 mobility and mida and traction.. I turn on a ten pence ⭕️ when getting shot at I run around a corner they follow I 180 and smack them in the face with my peregrine greaves.. oh it’s bliss

I used to not like it, but just like fastball I can't stand it when they aren't on anymore, which sucks because it costs energy instead of being a toggle-able option. Not everyone is gonna like traction or fastball and I sure as hell wouldn't want it on 24/7 if I didn't like it (which some people evidently don't according to the comments) because it CAN be kinda fast sometimes...more so fastball.

Hmm, at first I was on and off with it for a while, disliked it due to it using up a mod slot but once you get used to it, it's one of those things that just feels better. But that's my opinion, I felt slow and sluggish with it off, from my personal point of view.
