SUGGESTION: LEVIATHAN'S BREATH - Should harpoon enemies to walls and other enemies
...like the Resistance Crossbow in HL2 (or other similar harpoon/spike launcher weapons).
Initial hit should cause area impact damage and carry anything less than major sailing to the nearest wall or surface or another enemy, impaling them there. The arrow then glows bright hot and explodes for big solar damage.
Meta dps? Probably not..
Big fun? I think so!
You could:
Shoot a skewered enemy off a cliff
Shoot it into other enemies, creating a kebab!
Stick an enemy to a major or boss and watch it rag doll around with the boss movement before it explodes
Trickshot a skewered enemy into an enemy ship as it flies by
A few more shots in the quiver would help too.
Some of these exotics need a fun factor added... they don't need to be the best dps choice, just do something different and fun!

I'd like it if the catalyst returned ammo for headshot kills.

Yeah bows in warframe can do that. Its pretty awesome to puncture an enemy and watch the arrow carry them until they hit a wall.

1 ReplyNo make a new exotic harpoon gun. I've given it some thought and they could base it off the lightweight grenade launcher and basically just make it mountain top but without AOE explosion and add crits. Also non lethal shots could apply a slow affect and it it kills them, it pins their body to the wall

It should work like a mini tether. Hits a target or spot on the ground and shoots out chains to stun and lock down a group (no dps buff though).

1 ReplyThis sounds hilarious and would love this. Destiny needs more "boop" weapons. I wouldnt mind tractor cannon taking a damage nerf but an increase to the cone of boopness
