CRUCIBLE IS NO LONGER ABOUT SKILL - IT IS ABOUT NO SKILL - ONE HIT GUNS
I am tired of trying to like a joke of a crucible in d2. there is no skill involved and the ridiculous no skill - one hit LUKE SMITH ARSENAL OF CRAP is the meta because none of the devs know anything about crucible. It shows just how stupid all of bungie is. Crucible should be about skill. A place to build it, a place to learn it and a place to grind perfections. Bungie has dumbed down all of it and has reduced it to getting everyone everything as easy as possible so they can sell them shit on their joke of an accomplishment. No wonder people leave this game in droves. WAKE UP BUNGLE AND IF LUKE SMITH DOESN'T GET IT REMOVE HIM.

Even if bungie could code the game to disable all class abilities, make all guns locked from being used and only allowing a premade primary that has set stats that is given to everyone who goes into a special playlist, people are still going to cheat to win. There is still lag switching and third party software being used and very rarely you get hit with a DoS. Currently everyone is using the weapons that give them the quickest kills without using skill, take that away and they will still find a way to win.

The skill gap is too condensed with the majority of weapons in a match being a 600 rpm auto rifle or a mountaintop. I dont mind autos ttk, but the range that they can do it from is so silly that it over shadows scouts and most pulse rifles. Mountaintop is straight up unhealthy for pvp. It's a great pve, it should be unnequippable for crucible.

Eh destiny has way to many factors making pvp a mess. Wild Armor stats, wild weapon stats, lag, random spawns, small maps, fast movement, and supers. Imagine a small room, put in six people, give them all a m67 hand grenade and try to call anything that happens skill.

It's not supposed to be about skill. It's a PvP mode in a looter gamer. Of course whoever has the better weapons will have the advantage. You want skill? Gtfo and play some Valorant or Overwatch.

5 RepliesWhy are one hit guns always "no skill"? Is that supposed to be a shaming tactic intended to deter their use? In my opinion, consistently getting close enough to ohk with a shotgun takes skill. Getting close enough to ohk and survive the charge time with a fusion rifle takes even more skill. Snipers might get close to "no skill" territory, but they take accuracy which takes skill, so....

Crucible was never about skill. It's about having fun with broken weapons, you'd think after 6 years people would figure this out. If bungie wanted to make a truly competitive game they absolutely could, but that was never their goal and never will be. The stasis subclasses should prove that to everyone.

I play mostly pvp and it is severely broken. If you are looking for a game with gun skills you can do far better than Destiny. There are some very skilled players in the game but right now it is inundated with unskilled players looking for any weapon that requires the least skill. Bungie has steadily been taking the skill out of pvp with their poor balancing and horrible matchmaking.
