Destiny 2 Servers are unavailable but somehow my friends can play?!

My friends are currently playing Destiny 2 on Steam but whenever I try to start the game, it doesn't have any error codes and tells me that Destiny 2 servers are unavailable and I need to dismiss the message and try again. This doesn't make any sense if my friends are already playing!

 • Hey there! The "servers are not available" message indicates that there is a connection issue of some kind happening between you and Destiny 2. This may be an ISP issue. Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve the issue:
1. A wired connection is recommended to play Destiny, and if your connection is being used for other things when playing the game, such as streaming, it's recommended to quit those programs. You may also want to enable IPV6 on your router if you have it. • Don't you think that if your friends can play but you can't hints at a issue on your end. Run a full internet diagnostic looking for issues. Reset your router and then clear your system's cache. No wifi as they are subject to interference but if you do not have that option use wifi boosters.
