Right now there are some Pulse Rifles, Sidearms and 600 rpm Autorifles dominating or are in really good positions for both PvE and PvP. On console, with the recoil deviation being annoying and working against you, 600rpm Auto Rifles are dominating. I am [b]not[/b] asking for a nerf, but a few buffs to other weapons. Hand Cannons need more range, getting out gunned by an auto rifle from the range a hand cannon should be comfortable at is quite frustrating. I’ve landed 2 headshots countless times but before I can land the 3rd shot flinch kicks in and I am melted by a 600rpm Auto Rifle. Pulse and Scout Rifles also need some range buffs. A damage buff in PvE would be nice. Especially for Scout Rifles. SMG’s seriously need a stability buff on console. Any flinch taken from a Guardian or AI causes you to miss shots. This is frustrating when you pretty much need an entire magazine to kill a Guardian or AI and you have to reload. I really love Huckleberry, but it is so annoying getting up close and personal only to get destroyed by a Gnawing Hunger or the Summoner.
