Imagine grinding for or buying a nice set of armor only for half of it to randomly disappear half the time. I've yet to see anyone even address the issue yet, and its been going on for so long. The passive aggression and bias against this class at the studio is so blatant that I wonder why the class was made in the first place...

The game is literally tearing itself apart. Every update more glitches appear on things they didn't even update. It's rad.

1 Replymy hunter cloak does that too. either makes it go spaghetti flopping all over my screen or dissappear all together and im running around with a hooded chestpiece

That warlock robe glitching has been a thing since vanilla destiny as has the hunter cloak.

You warlock main are victims first, warlocks second. Yes, every employee at the bungie studio hates warlocks and they've been secretly destroying the class slowly over the course of d2. D3 will drop and you'll only be able to choose between hunter and titan.... thank god! In reality, the glitchy disappearing robes are to help you feel more like hunters with that disappearing feature you mentioned. You're welcome lol

Edited by Trafalgar_Lou: 9/2/2020 9:42:39 AMThe same reason we’re almost on Y7 and hunter cloaks still glitch on sparrows. The same reason it’s almost Y7 and trials content is reskined D1 content from 2015. The same reason it’s almost Y7 and every single mission consists of either standing on a plate, dunking an orb or scanning some crap. The same reason it’s almost Y7 and power level still means nothing. The same reason we’re on Y7 and no planatery vendors have been updated in 4 years. The same reason I haven’t played in months. Bungie don’t care at all.

1 ReplyYou mean going on Year 7.... the Warlock robe has been glitching since day one
-
2 RepliesYour warlock doesn't hesitate to disrobe. 🤭

There was actually a Bungie dev that answered a question about this on Twitter. Basically it’s a clipping issue when the robes/cloak aren’t properly coded to clip with that object/area. That’s just a consequence of having so many items/objects to clip with. Most MMOs have some kind of issue like this. I used to play 1 called Neverwinter and if my mage used its floating ability, it’s cloak would glitch out 100% of the time.

Because you need the new Nvidia RTX 3090
-
Some Titan marks clip through the legs. My OCD can’t handle it.
-
Because hunters need more buffs - Bunjo, probably

1 ReplyReal OGs remember when you could sit on a lamp at the bridge cp in Crota and hurt everyone’s eyes.

Weird physics calculations for robes and capes, been here since d1

1 ReplyYou know what bothers me even more? Go and put a shader on a lot of class items and Warlock robes. Notice those large areas that don't color? Oh boy, oh boy.... drives me nuts. Newest offender being the Solstice Warlock robes with the uncolorable dangly bits. Oh look the gold on the chest piece colors but the same exact matching gold on the robe parts doesn't. Yipee!!!!!

lol this has been going on long before kings fall came out in D1 thats for sure.
-
1 ReplyYear 5 and 11/12, but who's counting.
-
Year 3 of D2. Year 6 of the franchise.
-
This even bothers me and I don’t really even care about graphics. I can only imagine people that care about graphics a lot don’t play warlock because of this. I just noticed it recently. I think it’s a bug caused by the jump tbh. Character model arches slightly during jump and if robes don’t properly reset orientation afterwards due to a timing bug then I can only imagine that’s why the robes seem to go inside of the character model.

2 RepliesWhy are we entering D2Y4 and Warlock gauntlets still don't reach up to the damn shoulders?
-
1 ReplyThey have a crappy game engine that they don't know well enough to fix every bug without causing another one. I don't know who's idea it was to use this engine but it's crap and they know it, doesn't excuse it though.

1 ReplyIdk. Same reason hunter cloaks glitch out when you use dodge alot. Some goofy sh*t.
