What to use with Divinity
Hey everyone,
Just got the weapon and wondering if anyone has tips on which weapons are best to use for other fireteam members. Is it best to stick with something like Izanagis or does Divinity work equally well with weapons like Witherhoard or Anarchy that do tick damage.

3 RepliesIf your teammate has Xenophage they will get crit damage numbers with it... also Falling Guillotine absolutely wrecks with Divinity. Pair Divinity with Celestial Nighthawk to kill bosses with 2 immune phases instantly. ^see video

4 RepliesIn end game, for champion killing in master and gm, its best paired with izanagis or 2 erianas, and sometimes swords. In raids, you can pair it with almost anything your team is running for boss dps Exceptions, are not to use it on bosses with a double crit spot, like the garden boss, as he has a double crit spot. In those situations, youre actualy losing dps using divinity, and would be better with 6 guys landing normal crits with whisper etc

You have your anti barrier kinetic auto (its a BEAST!) and Divinity is hands down the best Overload weapon. Then auto rifle loader is awesome because, it also works for trace rifles. If your teammates have swords on? Oh man...you and your fireteam will rip thru anything. Divinity will make anything a crit and its considered a de-buff. I also main a Warlock. If I do top tree Nova and Divinity...the Slovabomb will travel slow enough for you to be able to then shoot the target with Divinity. The cage should form before the Nova and its seekers reach the target if you time it right. Massive damage! (Lol)

For shorter phases, you want burst damage weapons like Izanagi's and Wendigo. For longer phases, you want sustained DPS weapons like Whisper and Xenophage.

Xenophage pairs well as it can make it crit

Use divinity regardless. It has the ability to make stuff do more damage and stagger overload champions. Win win.

Erianas vow is bugged when paired with divinity so not that.

Depends. Izanagi is always a good one, Xeno in certain situations, or whisper are great exotic choices

Divinity works really well with about anything because you can't really go wrong with almost confirmed crit damage. But imo it's best paired with izanagis and wendigo. Whisper is also a great pairing.

You can pair divinity with a quickdraw autoloading rocket launcher. You can maintain the bubble while shooting rockets.

I think izanagi is still the best, specifically cuz its a sniper which usually requires you to hit crits but with divinity the whole hitbox is a crit so you dont have to aim but still get the damage bonus of a sniper precision shot if that makes sense
