Bungie supposedly gave pretty much the same nerf to fusions and shotguns but Erentil is a shell of its former self meanwhile shotguns seem to have gotten significantly better. Anyone that says you can’t get a ohk outside of 6 feet is lying or never played comp or trials. Also every time I come running around a corner into an opponent coming at me and not expecting me panic shoots and I get killed every single time even when I can see as I run through them the barrel of the shotgun is aimed down at my legs. I never noticed this happening a few seasons ago. I also used to be able to jump back and stay alive long enough after being shot once to kill them with my sidearm. Now the only time I can kill a shotgun runner is if I see him coming out in the open and get a couple shots in. I used to get hit once and live in these situations now I’m dead every single time. I can’t think of one instance where someone using a shotgun shot me and I lived now it’s anytime I get shot at I’m dead while fusions work about 60-70% of the time. The range seems to be exactly the same now as pre nerf whether the numbers say it or not. I get killed way beyond six feet with full health. So take aim assist off shotguns so players aren’t getting free panic kills. Or buff fusion rifles back up to counter shotguns. If players have a problem with Erentil make the low range fast firing fusions a deadly one hit kill to counter.

High impact fusions now excel at 2 things: slightly higher range and forgiveness. I urge you to try faster charging fusions. I use techeun force with under pressure high impact reserves and accelerated coils. It doesn't reach as far, but that's perfectly fine, as it deletes anyone in shotty and sidearm range, and it kills faster than an auto rifle. It also outcharges bastion. Hit a 52 but bomb with redrix and techeun force. Zealots reward is my second favorite. Anyone in shotty range dies. I think highest with zealots was 45. During that game no shotty touched me, and I could be aggressive with it.

If you clowns want to snipe all match go play sniper elite...other then that sit down and take it..what if bungie said screw it we’re removing all low zoom scopes and replacing sniper rifle scopes with max zoom because in essence aren’t sniper rifles ment to be used for long range engagements??? Hnmm

2 RepliesFusions are good but they require awareness, try to work on that i.e by sound and radar. Also, have you ever considered moving backwards? If you stand still right in front of a shotgunner what do you expect him to do?
