I’m grinding out Strikes for Vanguard Armor. Which has become quite the chore.
Can we go back to the system where we can buy random rolled Vanguard armor from Zavala like we could in Destiny 1? That way we can grind up our strike ranks per season and turn in tokens and through gameplay rank up our loyalty with those vendors?
Because there’s got to be a simpler way of grinding out vendor faction armor than just random engram drops.

17 RepliesI dont see why they haven't just implemented this already. The faction rallies were obviously poorly implemented and the d1 system was perfect. Classic case of "if it aint broke, dont fix it"

I only use my.tokens to level up what i need during the beggining of the season and after that their just chilling in my inventory.

2 RepliesI want to see what the Year 4 Vanguard armor looks like since they said it will not be a reskin of older sets. The Vanguard Vigil armor was probably the most laziest and obviously reskinned set ever in D2.

1 Reply*Can we return to D1?

I made a post about this a few weeks ago and attracted the Bungie defense force. They literally took a system in D1 where you sink a resource (like the tokens) into getting a rep package AND had cycling rewards with awesome rolls you could choose. Someone while making D2 was paid to make a system that is literally half of that system for every single vendor in the game except Werner. The real kicker? People will defend cutting out choosing your own rewards and outright state they don’t want a system that allows for player choice instead of just more rng

so token slam vendors?

2 RepliesThen they'd have to design more gear and weapons. That's too much work for current Bungie.
