Jade Rabbit and Merciless exotic Perks not working
So yeah, I recently got my Merciless Catalyst and dug the gun up from my collection. Soon after, I realised that its exotic Perk was not working at all. So I hopped on google and searched a little bit and found a reddit post (from 2 MONTHS AGO!!!!!) about this saying that the Merciless and Jade rabbit exotic perks aren`t working, with a video showcasing this. I tried it out myself in the tribute hall and no dice, still not working (I also tried Borealis` Perk just to be completely sure that exo perks even work in the tribute hall and it worked without problems). I hope this gets fixed fast because it also shows how many people use these weapons if we only find out now that they are bugged.

1 ReplyMerciless is being fixed in an upcoming patch. No word on Jade Rabbit afaik. It's a shame, I really like Jade Rabbit. The exotic perk doesn't make the gun, but it sure is nice to be forgiven for missing a crit in crucible.

Merciless is getting fixed soon. Idk about Jade Rabbit. Why are people even using it? It's literally a "miss your actually objective so you can get a buff that doesn't help whatsoever". At least Suros makes you go BRRRRRR for missing.

I'm unsure of jade rabbit though. Edit: Apparently the bug that effects merciless is the same for jade and so jade rabbit should be fixed at the same time as merciless. If I'm not mistaken, the update is due on September 8th

4 RepliesI don’t care about jade rabbit. Never use it for its perks anyway, only the super high stats in pvp. It has zero recoil. That said, it a scout, so I don’t use it in pvp that much either.

Merciless is beinf fixed on Tuesday (or whenever the next update is) as confirmed by the TWAB. I think they've been "investigating" Jade Rabbit for a few months now.

Must be random, i ran it in Crucible and pve a few weeks ago and it was working. On console, had it MW when the catalyst first dropped for it a few seasons ago or whenever that was ( from Crucible i think). Are guns that are glitching recently acquired catalysts or are some of you with the mw already?
