The last word in its initial release was a strong weapon on kb and m (keyboard and mouse) when used by a skilled player, it would still be outmatched by other legendary handcannons at mid to longer ranges but that is what the gun is made for. When season of arrivals released, bungie made the gun have a lot less range made its hip fire good at close range but overall killed the gun for kb and m players, the gun did less damage when you would ads with it which makes it not able to get a 3 shot kill in the head which is already hard to pull off. When bungie did this, the gun became op as fck on controller, and it does not take a lot of skill to use because the insane aim assist with it takes over. The gun is basically made for pvp it is terrible in pve and thanks to this terrible change the last word is kinda trash on kb and m even iin pvp which is what its made for, we live in a state where we have sidearms and smgs that use the same ammo and are more consistent than tlw on keyboard and they arent exotic. This is what i think needs to happen, since they want to gun to be different on keyboard to controller, revert the changes to the gun for keyboard or at least some changes to make the gun feel similar to how it used to and keep the gun like it is for controller players, or if not nerf it just a bit to make it a bit more natural instead of aiming for the player . So many people love this gun and bungie has killed it in this change and im sure a lot of people would be happy to use it in its original state.

All it really needed was that recoil fix since it was a laser. They didnt need to neuter its range and accuracy

Wasn’t skilled on MnK at all forced everyone to run it to compete, now that it’s thematically sound I think it should get hip fire accuracy buff since pc doesn’t have the aa like console.

Why not, it's pretty darn good on consoles, but shadow of its former self on PC. Tho I would rather prefer if we nerfed everything to Last Word's levels, would increase skill gap, and we know Destiny doesn't really have it.

2 RepliesIt now requires actual skill to use effectively on m+k. No buffs needed.
