With the news that Destiny is removing access to content that I paid for (the content the game launched with as well as the first two DLCs) I am seeking a refund. I live in Australia and we are pretty well protected by the ACCC against anti-consumer behaviour like this.
one of the key points that entitles a consumer to a refund is if the product "has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying it if they’d known about it"
I wouldn't have bought Destiny if I had known that Bungie would arbitrarily remove my access to the product I paid for.
I didn't rent Destiny, I bought it. I didn't purchase a time trial, I bought the game. Destiny didn't say anywhere on any advertisement that the content would be limited time access only.

2 RepliesHi there. If you'd like a refund you need to contact Steam Support for assistance. Bungie cannot issue you a direct refund.

1 ReplyTalk to the retailer you bought from, they would be the one to refund you. Ain't gonna happen, though.

Edited by HoldMyBeer: 8/29/2020 2:22:51 AM1. Not gonna happen. 2. You did know about it....as we all agreed that Bungie can alter/add/remove content at any time & for any reason. 3. Time to start reading your ToS/EULA before arbitrarily agreeing to them. Otherwise, you would know that you’re only paying for a license to access the content, and not paying for anything else as far as ownership goes.
