Pinnacle grind is becoming bullshit.
I seem to be getting something like a 80% heavy weapon drop rate for my pinnacle engrams.
All my Iron Banner engrams were heavy. Last week most of them were. Just done crucible 4 games and guess what?...
Gimme a -blam!-ing break here.

I know people who would come at you with torches and pitchforks over the heavies you've had drop. My clan leader went mental over my rng being good for a week.

I've been stuck at 1059 for 4 weeks now on 2 of my 3 characters. All I need are some damned arms for one and arms + a chest piece for the other. I keep getting nothing but energy drops from pinnacles, or else legs. Legs for days. 4 frikin weeks. 2 characters still grinding, both dudes are stuck in RNG hell. I have 9 g'damned sets of 1060 legs already, and not one set of gauntlets in 4 weeks. It's maddening. They should have an "Omit This Item From The RNG Pool" or something like that, so that once you've gathered up enough 1060 power cap items for one slot you can tick a damned box and that slot will be excluded from future "random" pulls. Hell, even if they just separated armor from guns, so that you can at least be sure you're getting one or the other. This way once you've reached your desired goals on - say - guns, RNG only offers up future picks for armor only (or vice versa). At least that would make the crap-tastic drops less of a stupid-palooza and a bit more deterministic. Boggles the mind why they can't simplify this as it's a well known frustration for countless numbers of players.

I dont do every pinnacle, but I do a fair amount each week. My other 2 characters, I havent progressed in Light Level for around 3 weeks now. I have never seen it this bad before and its partly why I havent pre-ordered Beyond Light.

Yes, I have been stuck waiting for a cloak on my hunter and a pair of boots on a warlock for weeks now. 1059.9 and all I get is weapons. I have 29 x 1060 weapons. I am not giving up though :)

Primary or Special weapon are my usual 1060 drops. Crap like Uriel's and New City. I finally got a bond for the Warlock and Titan got a rogue 1060 heavy. So now the Warlock can churn out 1060 stuff at the recaster. It's still primary and special 1060's for the other two though.

If you’re missing 1 piece why continue? Get artifact to +21. If you’re already doing gms or 1080s then you don’t need that last piece. You’re just making yourself more upset with the game and soon as expansion drops you’ll get a blue that’s higher than your missing piece. Do the activities you enjoy instead or will you stop playing when you hit 1060 as there are no activities you enjoy and you was only playing to hit power cap? Really need to ask yaself why you play etc.

Gimme a -blam!-ing break here.[/quote] The biggest problem is that once you reach 1050 there is no progression to 1060 other than Pinnacles. Prime Engrams, Powerful Reward Activities are all meaningless and pointless - if you need to midmax, we do that through the tens and tens of umbrals that we get. So for some, when you reach that point where you only need one slot for 1060 - it beomes near impossible, it becomes frusting, it leaves you feeling more that Bungie does not value nor respect your time in this game. 5 pinnacles in this week, and I still do not have the chest for my Hunter - so I have switched off PS4 as I can't even be bothered playing my other characters - the inevitable disappointment is not worth it. As previously said, this is partly why I have not pre-ordered Beyond Light. Bungies gives me no reason nor faith to invest in them - they don't invest in me.
