I came back thinking ‘ok, I’ve got a few weeks until I’m back at uni so I’ll return and do Solstice on my warlock...’
15 mins later and I’m back on Command and Conquer having a blast. Destiny 2 has mastered the art of driving its own long time players away. I like the armour but I’m sorry Bungie this tedious regurgitated garbage simply is not worth it. Games are supposed to fun. There is nothing fun about this.

2 Repliesye this game sucks Tried to get the solstice armor and realized how incredibly boring it was redoing all the same content over for armor that doesn't look that good and the best version costs money. Been binging deep rock galactic and having actual fun. A much better game. Plus that Remnant dlc dropped

5 RepliesEvery "new" thing in this game is basically just go do old content with the absolutely bare minimum real new content sprinkled around it.

Destiny has become a task simulator, and most of the best stuff is not for the solo player (by design). Adherents will tell you this is the way these games are supposed to work. People coming in with fresh eyes will tell you the game simply does not value the player's time. Lots will stay and endure it. Lots will have enough and leave.

Making these kind of post on here is pointless because it looks like bungie doesn’t care for these forums on here. they care more for their subreddit because it’s mostly positive on their

5 RepliesProbably because the expansion isn’t out yet Einstein

I log in to these forums to see if there is anything positive or a reason to come back. Nope. The grind burned me out and it's been a month since I've played. Just can't get into it right now. I'm glad I didn't pre-order. I think I'm going to wait a few months after the next release to see if it's worth it.

I need about 50 more kills with arc damage to finally get the glow armor but I just couldn’t do it. It hurts SO MUCH playing pvp for me. I just delete the armor and I feel so much better ^_^

16 RepliesEdited by Sinisis: 8/26/2020 1:16:54 AMI deleted D2 this past weekend, for the first since it came out years ago! I honestly felt liberated afterwards. D2 felt like a punishment, a chore, a bore rolled up into one! I'm honestly impressed at their ability to screw up a game!

1 ReplySame, logged in to do the story mission which was a total snooze and then went to some planet to do some quest and after a few minutes just turned my ps4 off.
-
1 ReplySame here. I logged in, saw the requirements for Solstice armor and logged out. Bungie sure knows how to strangle the fun out of the game.

6 RepliesI can only imagine how horrible it would be to return to this game after not playing for over a year.... so Im not coming back to it.

1 ReplyI haven’t played a lick since March or April, and this was after sinking wayyy more hours into Destiny than I care to admit. And honestly I feel less inclined to return each passing day. The direction they’re heading in...I disagree with the reasoning and the implementation. The story may finally be heating up, but I don’t like being turned into a F2P/fomo drone. I also don’t want to play D1, thanks. I can get my video game rocks off plenty other places without having to deal with Bungie’s internal problems. Whatever...I’ve been enjoying rocket race this past week, and it reminds me of that innovative excitement that Bungie used to do so well. Now, they just seem to be interested in doing less with less but calling it more.

2 RepliesSolstice is nothing more than bounties attached to armor. Bounties in this game ruin everything. They are completely unimaginative, reparative and boring. Oh joy, let’s shoot 1000 fallen, collect 1000 orbs, 500 head shots.... again and again.

Its a shame command and conquer is not on the ps4 i love the game i had to settle with sudden strike which isn't a bad game in itself and i stopped ayinv the moment solstice started.
-
Command and Conquer is so good!!

8 RepliesI think the glows ruined the armor. I would have played for better stat rolls if there would have been a way to toggle the glow off. That and the glow was inconsistent among its individual pieces... the arms would blind you while the class items and chest pieces had to be inspected to know if it was even on or not. Not sure what happened there.

Been playing Smite the last couple weeks because I feel the same way.

1 ReplyThis is how bored I was with this game. I was waiting for the game to load up to a strike. Felt a Hang nail on one of my fingers. Spent the next 15 minutes removing all the hang nails from all my finger and didn’t realized that I’ve been idle this whole entire time. Honestly, I had a more satisfying reward than what destiny 2 can give me at the end of any strike.
-
yes its grind grind grind with no reward. I think next year just going to be the same and no reward. its all about making money and the grind is to help this. look at the eververse engrams. I've now had 40 plus duplicates in a row now and there's loads of stuff I haven't got. small loot pool to try and get me to buy silver and buy via the store. this just shows Bungie what they are money grabbers and EA wanna be's

Stopped playing when CBMM was implemented, haven’t been on since then - don’t miss it.

If you want to make a company act fast, use mass social media forms like Twitter etc these forums are kind of like self contained damage control vaults where only the players and diehards who frequent will be able to read the negative press🤫

Yep, they somehow broke this game to the point, that after about 5 years, I can’t play it anymore.Dropped it more than two months ago, tried week ago, and after 5 minutes of pure vomit I quit. Boring and pointless rotting corpse of the great game Destiny. Sad.

2 RepliesUsually happens when you get back with an Ex. It's desperation really. Longing for the good times, and memories.. and excitement. But you ultimately come to your senses after exploding your money cannon at the screen, then realize you're doing all the chores you used to do, that you remembered you hated.

Guild Wars 2 End of Dragons is coming next year... Cantha hype!
