So, I've been a bow user for about 2 years now. I love em! pvp, pve, just a super fun weapon to use. However when using them against more meta load-outs/weapons in pvp. the average ttk of any bow in the game pales in comparison to just about any other weapon archetype in the game. I've thought about how one would go about increasing the ttk, while not buffing the ttk too high. and the only "bow change" i can currently think of is increasing the draw and reload speed substantially, and decreasing the damage per arrow. this way 2 arrows to the head could kill and compete with meta weapons. and the damage decrease per arrow would be more punishing if one were to miss the head and hit the body. turning the bow into a major "high skill requirement weapon" lowing the damage per arrow would also keep bows from becoming OP. I would love to see bows come into more of a competitive state being the most unique archetype of weapon. if you read this and have any thoughts leave some comments, and have a great day!
