I'm sure a lot of you have encountered players doing absolutely the oddest and unbelievable things. The fact of the matter is that people will do whatever it takes to win a match including cheating. This has been going on for years and Bungie does nothing. The people at Bungie won't do anything because they believe they will loose their player base if they were to ban people for cheating. So good job Bungie, even though you all have been able to get yourself away from Activision, YOU'RE STILL LIKE ACTIVISION! Doing absolutely nothing.
Oh I take that back the people at Bungie does do at least one thing. They bend over to all, ALL, the people that stream and get a lot of views. Bungie will only listen to their complaints and not do anything about the REAL problems.
To all those who cheat in pvp and especially in Trials, by all means go ahead and continue. Bungie won't do anything about it because BUNGIE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOU! They only care about your money.... just like Activision.

The destiny community should file a class-action lawsuit against Bungie for the lack of actively adapting anti-cheat software and ease of reporting these activities. Why is it the community's responsibility to correct the issue that they thems selves don't make an effort to fix, they don't pay us to do this crap, and it's not our responsibility.

2 RepliesThis is more relevant now than ever. "We're going to try and take legal action against cheat makers and call that enough."
-
1 ReplyYes, sadly I agree with you. It is the reason I'm not going to order the next DLC and won't until Bungie comes up with a solid plan to deal with cheaters in PvP/Gambit on PC.
-
I'm not a tech guy by any means, but is there really anything they can do about it. Been going on for quite some time now seems to me they don't know how to stop it. Can't actually believe that they don't care that there are cheaters rampant in their game making it miserable for other players

You guys need to check this out!! https://youtu.be/T8PuYzWlCc0

69 RepliesAhhh yes the good old console cheaters plaguing the crucible every single game
-
Best thing to do is not play it if it means that much to you. Vote with your time. Nobody is going to change anything. This is likely the 100,000th post about pvp cheating. Still happens...always will.
-
Yeah they don’t. They keep pushing players to play it tho. If you want this you have to play pvp. And the solstice gear is the beat part to get the armor fully complete you have to play trials of Osiris. There is no way half of destiny players will get that. With all the trolls in this game. I love playing but the players I keep finding have be hostile. But I blame that on trolls of destiny. Players now react hostility towards others before the get trolled. I would play more pvp and like to try trials again but until they improve it I am just going to do my weekly and forget about it.

This cheating does not hurt their sale and nor does it let the masses exploit/farm anything and bypass content. Obviously, they won't and don't care.
-
That's why any form of competitive gameplay in this game is an absolute joke and always will be.
-
23 RepliesI don’t think cheaters are really ever going to be a big problem on console. They exist, yes, but not really to any significant degree. You’ll scarcely ever actually met them. If at all.
-
The game is free. People who get banned can make new accounts. Bungie has made it impossible to get rid of cheaters.
-
5 RepliesSolution. Trials- role selection, predetermined load-outs. Make an actual top-tier skill based challenge.
-
I don’t care either
-
31 RepliesCan anybody actually show me proof of cheating on console? I'm not talking dos or ddos or other network manipulation, I'm talking about hacks, cheating, aim bot, speed glitch, anything like that. Show me a link to software that works. Show me a video with clear evidence. Any evidence at all. I keep seeing people saying cheating is on console too but I've never once seen it and don't think it's possible.

Their best customers. Because people are paying them for carries.

Well with the few people I piss off they told me that they don’t want average players playing pvp game modes especially trials or comp. They don’t want the game to be fair and balanced because there fear won’t seems as “special” when everyone is allowed to have it: I have tried to make comp an trials more inviting by simply saying get rid of the loss counter or getting rid of loss of points so it no longer discourage player from playing. When they lose back to back matches now they are more bound to give up and stop playing because they are tired of losing and having all there hard work mean nothing. With what I suggest yea they will get mad but they will continue to play until they reach there goal. I would rather lose over 100 matches and eventually win 1 just to even try. But the more and more the game stays like it is I expect more people to continue to cheat, hack or whatever just so they can get that gear or what have you. So accept the way it is or fight for change. I’m done fighting because I no longer play destiny 2 because I see it dying and there is no other reason to play now. If I could have pvp the way I suggested I might have continued to play until sunsetting. I refuse to recollect all the same shit I have collected twice already.

1 ReplyIf you ban all the cheaters, then no one would be playing.

1 Reply...and Competitive.

Its not just pc anymore they are cheating on console to its just hard to notice on console. And yes there are cheats for console there just really hard implement on console.
-
9 RepliesWhy do you care. You’re on console, there aren’t any cheaters.

2 RepliesEdited by Brawl: 8/25/2020 1:19:47 AMI think they care they just cant do anything about it the only way to slove it is go to destiny 3

3 RepliesIf someone has to cheat in Destiny 2s PvP they need to reevaluate their life. I log in, get my weeklies done and dip out. My KD has plummeted this season because I simply do not care. Like at all. PvP is in such a terrible state right now, hopefully they figure something out in November. At least I have a couple months to clean up some old collection badges and miscellaneous triumphs.

6 RepliesBungie has gone really down hill without Activision. I don't think Bungie can handle this game on their own.
-
1 Replyobviously they care, just not enough
