Consistent Error Code Weasel

Once every 2 hours or so, I encounter "contacting destiny servers" for a bit, then get kicked from the game with error code "weasel". This only started occurring a couple weeks after Forsaken launched, but it's been consistent ever since. Interesting, it tends to happen towards the start, or end of events, like right before getting rewards after a Crucible match, right after a round ends or starts in Gambit. -I am hardwired to LAN, have a very consistent 250+mbps down / 10+mbps up connection. -I have tried all the port forwarding instructions, REPLACED my modem and router with new models. -I have upgraded my internet service to a better connection speed. Nothing changes the consistency of this error code. I ran a ping test, too: --- bungie.net ping statistics --- 300 packets transmitted, 300 packets received, 0.0% packet loss round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 6.019/9.873/20.094/1.409 ms Looks pretty good to me, but nothing works to resolve this, so I'm reporting it to the forum. Any ideas on how I might fix this?

 • Since Season of Arrivals I and my wife are having this exact issue, it's maddening for raids! We have UPnP enabled on our router; we have 400+ Mbps down/25+ up; and I have not changed ISPs or any hardware other than a new router that is the same manufacturer. My Xbox One is wired to the LAN, wife's is on WiFi. We will USUALLY get Weaseled the same time, two hours after we start playing, on the dot. Every two hours. However, once in a while (last night it was twice) where one of us is Weaseled and the other isn't. I'm an IT professional. I've went over my Netgear R7000P routers settings several times. I've done most of the basic troubleshooting (flush of Xbox One caches, factory reset both it and the router; hard restart of the Xboxes and so on). I'm very reluctant to turn off UPnP and do port forwarding since I have other devices on the network that utilize it. I really think this must be on the Xbox One/Bungie side of things but find no answers or responses from either company on this issue. So frustrating that I can't enjoy the game as intended and do end level content reliably.
