Hell yeah little robo buddies, rock on. This movie is a rollercoasters from start to finish. Going in I had no clue what it was about or what would be in it. Top points: 1. Opening: The First ten minutes of this movie are honestly so good, if it was just that it would be in my top ten for short films. Granted I’ve only seen like 8. 2. Surprisingly exciting. Some of the biggest -Blam!- Yeah moments in this movie come from the weirdest places. The climax of the movie is a guy standing up, walking over to a wheel and pressing a button, like, this movie is wild and it’s great. 3. Oddly Romantic. Honestly this is a dramatic rom com with robots and its amazing. Lots of good leitmotifs for the music to call to during the scenes causing a much better impact. 4. Robots. Honestly the robots are fantastic, especially the broken ones Wall-E jailbreaks, they all have unique personalities and a few just get decked and it’s hilarious. Lifeguard bot’s death is hilarious to me for some inexplicable reason. It’s just so relaxed of a way to kill some poor robot and it’s hilarious to me. 5. Overall. Stop suggesting Pixar movies damnit, I want to give bad review scores for at least a few of these. Score 9/10 highly recommended.
