Since Gambit is getting a facelift, once I decide I'm done with prime for this season (or done with a particular role or whatever) can I delete the Gambit prime armor sets? Takes up a lot of space.
It's a shame because the style is great, but it never got seasonal mod slots so I could never wear it outside prime anyway and never would in the future.

1 ReplyJust make sure to unlock them in the collections so you can trans morph them in the future
-
I finally broke down and deleted all 3 of my characters gambit sets. It’s a shame because for 2 of my characters I grinded the t3 sets out when reckoning was actually broken and unplayable, bungie wasted a huge chunk of my time with that

3 RepliesThanks to sunsetting you can safely shard the entire game.

Hang on in case you can convert to ornaments
-
You HAVE Gambit Prime armor? Yes you can shard it. That whole Season is now a waste of time.

1 ReplyEdited by WhiskeyHotel: 8/23/2020 6:50:38 AMYou can safely shard everything in the game right now. Its all trash. If its not sunset this fall, it will be soon next year. Same goes for next year too.

I would hold it for transmog if you like it, but yeah, otherwise its useless come BL
-
If you want the reckoner title if you dont have it then keep and grind it out if you do have the title then delete your extras keep one for trans mog (who knows how thats going to work) also gambit is getting made into one playlist and the armor perks are going away is what ever you want
-
Yes you can! Nobody wears that gear anymore
-
It's pretty much garbage according to Bungie with the "new" Gambit and it's 2 maps.
-
That whole DLC was a waste.
-
1 ReplyWe dont know how their transmog system works yet, so id hold it incase you can turn it into a vanity set
-
Yes you can, but i would just vault it for now for transmog since we have NO idea how it will work
-
If you really like the style keep a set to turn into transmog when that is released sometime in the next year.
-
2 RepliesThey could simply turn the Gambit Prime armours (Reaper, Invader, Collector & Sentry) into empowered ornaments Equip said armour ornaments on your regular armour to turn it into Gambit Perfected armour & gain the ‘ornament level’ buffs This system could work for other things Raids, Crucible/IB, fighting specific enemies etc (Taken spec in Prophecy etc)
-
I'd hold on a bit, because with Bungie's reputation its quite likely that the old Prime armour perks will still work for a while. In fact theres a good chance they'll be buffed and hideously overpowered for the first week or 2. You know Bungie!
-
I wouldn’t shard anything unless you need shards
-
We haven't heard whether or nor the gambit and gambit prime collaboration will be LL enabled. If it is, much like prime. It's useless. But due to various complaints I wouldn't be surprised if LL is disabled. Meaning you can still use ALL your gambit sets from here on out.
-
2 RepliesIf it can be infused past 1060 then might not hurt to hold on to it for couple seasons into expansion just in case they do something and introduce the set bonuses again and then you’ll have it already.
-
Already did.
-
Just wait when the update comes just dismantle whatever
-
Hang onto it for transmog.
-
4 RepliesYou may want to hang on to it for universal ornaments later, they haven’t said how it’ll work yet so...

Read the TWAB. They said they were looking to move the buffs to mods.. that and the armor is locked at 1060 This tells me they intend to leave that set behind. Do as you please, but I would shard it.
