Don’t vault the exotic catalysts
For any matter just don’t screw me and a ton of other players over, yes you can get rid of the missions, but don’t get rid of the weapons. Just make them exotic drops. Make an extremely long quest that makes it so you can get all of them in a sequence, i’m sure nobody cares.

Smartest thing bungie could do is just make catalysts automatic when getting the exotic. Then grind out whatever objective to level the catalyst. No catalyst should be removed from the game.....ever.

I think they said that all will make a return to get in some fashion if you cannot obtain before their sunset. much like the Cryptiarch is selling past seasons exotics, in case you missed those.

LoL no ones screwing you. You literally have till November. That’s MONTHS Away. They’re giving you fair warning. Beyond fair. If those catalyst are that important to you then You would start on them now. Instead of complaining about it. Just like I did yesterday. World Line is the only catalyst I’m missing so what did I do after the TWAB? I started working on it. If you really want them.... MAKE THE EFFORT.

I am only missing: Sleeper, Acrius and Mida.. currently not using any of those and outside Acrius, none really interest me. I can wait awhile longer.

I really hope they make exotics and catalysts they are no longer attainable very rare drops. I mean Bastion used to be a quest and now it’s on the exotic cipher to just be bought so why not? Do that with Izanagi’s Burden too.

Most people, instead of crying they are being screwed, would use the ample time to get what they have not gotten. That is a logical conclusion. Yet here you are. Get off your ass and get it done if you want them. Anything else is borderline stupid.

The raid catalysts will be annoying to get even if it's just grinding the first possible chest, but I probably got better odds at those than the Crucible ones.

1 ReplyAll exotic catalysts that would normally be vaulted should be converted in one of two ways imo. 1. Unlock naturally after a certain amount of kills with the weapon 2. Something similar to the exotic cypher but would be earnable through a mini quest or bounties rather than a 1 time item during the season

Dude, relax. Sweet business, graviton lance and sunshot catalysts were just thrown in the lootpool without their faction requirements later on. Expect they do something like this, hopefully... Hope for the best and not some -blam!-ed up 21 win streak on trials or 5000 wins on gambit.

Pretty sure they said in the TWAB even though the quests are going away, down the road they will introduce another way to obtain them.
