Removing a linked steam account, if you no longer have access to steam
My steam account was compromised, and I am able to log into my bungie account using my linked twitch. However, when trying to unlink my steam account from my bungie it's requesting me to log into steam that I no longer have access to. Is there a way to unlink my steam account without having to log in with my steam credentials. I'd prefer not to lose all my progress in case this hacker decides to log into it and delete all of my characters. Please let me know ASAP.

Your game data is tied to the specific platform account on which it was created, not your Bungie profile. Even if you were able to unlink your Steam account from your Bungie profile, it would not affect your inability to access your Steam account, and therefore your Destiny data. You will need to contact Steam support, and work with them to regain access to your Steam account. Bungie cannot access your Steam account for you, nor can they transfer your Destiny data from the compromised account.
