Umbral engrams and blue drops are out of control!
I gotta go to the tower way too much just to clear the postmaster and decode engrams. This needs to change.

I still don't even understand why you guys are even getting things going to the post master in the first place.

My post master is literally all umbral engrams and blues. You should have the option to disable blue drops after a certain point and umbrals have no reason to be 10 second dismantle

Its materials, why complain about it? Make room on your Guardian and delete stuff as it drops instead, save the postmaster for engrams only. It works for me atleast.

I lost a pinnacle yesterday thanks to this piss rich issue. 1) The postmaster should be much larger especially with Umbral drop rates (but keep the drop rate!) 2) You only get 'The Postmaster is full' message if you are in the tower (well maybe the farm too but who the hell goes to the farm?) 3) We should get notification everywhere that the PM is full 4) We should get advanced warning that's the PM is 'almost' full and by that I don;t mean there's only 1 slot left! If you are in the middle of a strike or something and you only have 1 slot left and the chest drops 2+ items and the first is not a pinnacle!!! 5) If the PM is full and you get a pinnacle drop it should replace a blue engram or even another engram to preserve the more valuable pinnacle. Yes there's an issue here what if the legendary its replacing is a god-roll item you have been chasing for months?!?!?!

They are all to keep you occupied. Post match rewards to keep your brain engaged for 2 minutes so you’re not looking in to space for 2 minutes noticing how long the load times are.

Heck, with them knowing that Engrams were going to be a big part of this season, and possibly continuing into the future, they should have added 20 slots to the Engram collection. Oh yeah, and we should be able to turn on an Auto-Dismantle for the Blues.

3 RepliesEdited by Dr Livingston 9: 8/19/2020 8:04:58 AMyou dont need to clear the postmaster just let it fill and eventually the items will disapear. i hear you though when you reach a certain power level if your not looking for a particular gun you dont care about umbrals any more. ya after like 2 or 3 activities you need to go to the tower. umbral management and blues can be burdensome constantly deleting the blues. i sometimes delete the umbrals but that takes effort too . not to mention the eververse engrams that clog up your inventory faster. my shader inventory and consumables are constantly full.

2 RepliesYeah, I'm started to get p*ssed off with the amount of Umbrals. I nearly missed out on an Exotic because it went to an already full postmaster, which coincidentally was full of Umbrals (go figure, huh?). They need to have a seperate section for them to go to. But, if you don't focus them and just open them all, you can get Exotics to drop from them so they're worth it, I guess. But still annoying.

Dismantle the umbrals you pick up .. Simple solution

Use the d2 app or DIM to clear out the postmaster while flying between activities.

Too much loot in a loot based game. Seriously though... turning in unfocused Umbrals can reward you with exotics. As far as the blues go, there should be an option to auto dismantle those. Until then, I use my app to transfer items out of my postmaster to my characters and dismantle in between flying to a new destination or loading into activities.
