Do something about paid carries!
Lost my ranks against in comp because we keep getting matched up against the same loser doing paid carries on Xbox. Dude ends up with almost 30 kills a game while his teammates get like 4 each. Do something about this Bungie. Then load into a solo to try to get some points back and a player on my team gets booted first round. Still have not hit Legend because of this crap. Every single time I get up to almost mythic 3 it’s non stop teammates lagging out, jerk offs doing paid carries, or some ding -blam!- lagging all over the place. I swear to God this game is rigged and hitting Legend is impossible. Do your job and get rid of these players I mean go on your f-ing app and you can see who’s doing paid carries, not that hard Bungie!

If the player is good enough to be able to get 30 kills each game and destroy the opposing team then what does it have to do with paid carries..?lol That guy is just better than your team

Typical lack of any logic or forward thinking. If you think stopping paid carries/recovs is gonna help you get to 5500 then you're fantastically incorrect. Instead of playing 2 gods and a scrub, you'll be playing 3 gods. Instead of playing a wolf in sheep's clothing, you'll be playing the wolf. You won't suddenly have better matchmaking, you'll be playing against the exact same people, cuz the bad players won't be playing comp anyway. All that will happen is you'll be the good people on their own accounts and still get dumped on. Fact is, if you can't beat them when they're disadvantaged and have less than favourable load outs, then you ain't gonna beat them on their own account with optimised stat rolls and weapon perks. And if you cant beat that caliber of player, then you arent gonna get to 5500 anyway. Stop blaming other people, carries, recoveries, bungie, whoever else, for your lack of skill. Face up to the fact you need to improve and just get better, instead of acting like you'd suddenly be some Unbroken wearing PvP god if recoveries didn't exist.

Im not that great at PvP either, but decided to go after the Recluse because, well there wasn't too much else to go after. I actually found Comp better than Valor, seems less chaotic if that makes any sense? I got all the way to Legend (which didnt take all that long surprisingly) and am about a third of the way through that I think (of the top of my head), I play solo pretty much all the time. Im getting there, slowly, it's tough for those that aren't great at PvP (like myself, I did Trials for the first time last weekend - it didn't go well haha) but don't quit. As for paid carries, well, what can you or anyone else do? Yeah they are annoying but they are part of gaming and you have to expect it in D2. But I also accept that most people are better than me at PvP too haha.

Paid carries, pay for guns, or whatever is the only way some people can ever acquire some of these things. Bungie's move toward over-the-top difficulty, 6-player mechanics and CBMM make this a reasonable alternative for the great unwashed. If it wasn't for the "sunsetting" announcement, I'd already have paid for Not Forgotten and Recluse (and that's [u]only[/u] because Bungie's CBMM throws the best players with the best guns into the same cage fight with average players, who don't stand a chance). A skill advantage is one thing, but them also having guns with a TTK of 2/3 anything I have is a game breaker. So, just like the Reese's candy ad... "Not Sorry".

1 ReplyCarries aren't the problem. At least with carries, they are still playing their own game. Recoveries are a huge problem. They basically are sandbagging the matchmaking by having very skilled players play on the accounts of less skilled players and thus matching you against sweat lords and basically making your climb harder.

There’s really nothing to do. There’s almost no way to separate paid carries from free ones or just really good players. Even if they banned them from lag people would stil, find a way to do them. It’s not really against anything in the game either. People can pay if they want to. Is it annoying? Yes. Is there much you can realistically do about it without wasting time and resources? No.

One big reason they won't ever deal with paid carries is because many streamers technically do paid carries by carrying subs or donaters and if they deal with everyone else they will then have to deal with all the streamers who have done these carries and then there goes all their viewership and free advertising.

If this is the case may I suggest quick play or gambit, do the pvp'ers a favor and dont que ranked if you know you are of lesser ability till you practice more. Also my guy, Its worth every one noting that you were trying to use jotunn in comp. If you dont know why thats a problem you deff need to get back to the basics of quick play.

The only thing they can do is make games match based on the teams total average skill. So lets say a carry has made it to legend. Then no matter what even if he resets he will be qued with legend players until the reset at the new season. That way his avereage will always balance it in favour of the enemy team if the person is double carrying

There’s only so much Bungie can do. If people are willing to pay to get carried in Comp/Trials, and people willing to carry for money, the two parties will find a way to meet up. and Bungie isn’t about to do anything game side like prevent players from getting “Legend” or allowing their Trials cars to full if they don’t have a certain k/d or kill count.

You already answered you're own question when you said "every single time I get to Mythic 3". You keep playing and trying, why would bungie do anything? They already know people will keep playing it regardless.
