When the Destiny 2 Year 2 solstice arrived, it allowed players to undergo one of the worst grinds in the game for the beloved Solstice Set; A beautiful revamp of the starter armor with a new majestic, take on it's design. However, it's not all sunshine and rainbows this time around. The armor rolled with bad stats usually, making it unusable in high tier gameplay. This led players to dismantle it or abandon it from lack of usefulness. Now that the Year 3 solstice has arrived, and the armor for it looks worse than ever, players like me want to use the old solstice armor, however we can't reacquire it in any way. If we get enough signatures, maybe Bungie will allow us to reacquire or buy the Year 2 set as an ornament for the Year 3 armor.

Year 1 solstice was horrible hopefully we get it too
-
With transmog coming, I think you probably get that wish.

Edited by Billahzz: 8/18/2020 12:32:37 AMI like the sentiment but i dont want to pay for the year 2 armour set so i wont be signing it with its current wording sorry man 😔

They most likely won’t, but I’ll support you in this cause I agree.
-
I don’t understand why the sets can’t be pulled from collections. They were static rolls on the 2.0 versions when we collected them from the gunsmith
-
4 RepliesWhy would you dismantle the set if you know you can't pull it from collections and you don't know if you'll ever be able to show it off otherwise? Both armor sets from previous Solstice events should be available as universal ornaments, or at least ornaments on the newer solstice gear, but deleting the year 2 set was still a bad decision on your part

1 ReplyCancerous Nut you make some valid points and I agree that ever verse should be removed from this game. But Whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let’s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta’aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

1 ReplyOr give me my Bright Dust back for purchasing the glows the 1st year and 2nd year, that way I can buy this years? If you grind out Bright Dust on all 3 alts and did the Gambit anz Vanguard and Crucible weeklys, you only have enough Bright Dust to buy one set of glows and ALMOST enough to buy two...and Evas weekly bounties are broken... Yea...I want my Bright Dust back for all the hard work spent earning the glows in year 1 and 2. Anyone who earned those should get some, seeing as how they are practically unobtainable and unusable now.

2 RepliesBungie does not hear petitions... they hardly even have a resemblance to supporting any kind of democracy... they support leftist socialist groups... and the game itself reflects that in the fact that the economy sucks and you work really hard for little to no reward.... Its just a sign of the times and the future looks bleak.
-
7 Replies“Buy” it? Didn’t you already buy the game? Don’t encourage Bungie to make this a pay to win.
-
1 ReplyA petition isn't going to do crap about it. There's no legal binding
-
Even if trans mog becomes a thing eventually, surely you won't be able to trans mog items you can't require from collections. So any armour that's 2.0 like last seasons solstice armour, unless you kept them your more than likely out of luck. So waiting for trans mog as some have suggested, may not be the solution.
-
3 RepliesI like the warlock armor this year. Last year's armor looked like crap.
-
1 ReplyIts already becoming an ornament most likely. I think everyone is forgetting that Bungie is adding transmogrification come November. I quote "With Destiny 2’s transmogrification system, players will be able to turn any piece of armor they like into a Universal Ornament." The key word is any. I would assume that we'd be able to turn our old armor into universal ornaments as well so personally I wouldn't worry too much.

Bump the post. Petition is sketch.
-
They should give player who bought or warned them all the materials needed to transmog them, that way this solstace can do well and the players from last solstice aren't scammed. I've heard that it would be hard for them but they literally scammed people
-
2 RepliesKnowing now that they decided to NOT "make it right" with last year's set really pisses me off as I (stupidly) deleted my 48 stat sets thinking these potato brains would follow through on their word, and now I can't see them ever again. I spit on you, Bungie. You truly are the worst.
-
2 RepliesThere will be a transmog next dlc for that
-
Nah Bungie stole your money. They no longer care.
-
Hey man, just realize solstice is a joke and move on. If your participate in this event the jokes on you.

It's not gonna happen this is bungie we talking about.
-
17 RepliesCan we as a community stop saying years and 2's and what ever else, if you know what things come from what time periods i think its time to relax. Just say last solstice? Havent we only had 2 so far?
-
Banshee still has the final completed armour package for my Titan's Y2 solstice armour as I never bothered to collect it for that character. He can continue to hold on to it until he starts to charge glimmer for storage.
-
1 ReplyI’ll agree to this post. Stupid that those glows are gone. Including that spring event ornaments. Like wtaf bungie.

4 RepliesBungie had better make this one thing right for their players. It is a massive kick in the nuts, sucker punch, slap in the face, poke in the eye, pulling of the hair, shin kicking, whipping, tasering, pepper spraying, and stab in the back to those who spent their time grinding out/buying that armor.
