White Glow Solstice Universal Ornaments
I know this might be a hot take, but hear me out. I'm not a super huge fan of the elemental glow ornaments, but the white ones look gorgeous to me. I believe that the white glows could(/should) be added in as a separate ornament set.
Before you go to comment something like, "that would take away from the original purpose of actually completing the objectives," I have a proposal.
Instead of making the set immediately available for purchase, I think that there are a couple ways to work around this idea.
1 - A prerequisite for being able to purchase the set would be to have already upgraded the magnificent armor (FULL set) to its full potential, which means doing your Pit, doing your trials, etc.
2 - Straight up just unlocking the universal ornament for that piece of armor after you get its glow, no purchases required. This version is much easier than making players purchase another set, and I believe that a move like this would be taken extremely well by the community. (It would be kinda hard to pull off a cash grab w/o incredible negative feedback with the event already started and all.)
I know this is kind of a lot to ask. People might not necessarily agree with this idea, but if there's anyone out there who does agree or maybe has different ideas about how this could work, I'd love to hear your feedback! (Any opinion is welcome, I'd love to talk about something like that.)

By the way of people having catched on if you do a second character and you finish it up to Magnificent the white glow is not Universal. I have the white glow on my Titan except for the boots and my warlock does not have to Glow even though he's wearing magnificent. Basically Bungie lied to us they told us at the Y close Universal Universal means when you acquired magnificent on any character you are able to wear the white glow

It's not a hot take, it's something that should've been thought of from the get go. You got your paid color active ornaments in the shop, why can't you have free, grindable white ones? Both have their upsides and downsides, which come from personal prefference. I for one, love the white on Warlock and Titan, but I'm not overly fond of it on Hunter. The purple Void glow fits much more with the hunter's sihlouette and overall theme. The 2nd solution is simple and straightforward. Do your grind objectives, and once you complete the whole set(magnificent with glows, so, Including, Pit, NF, Trials, Nightmare, Altars), get the ornament set(not before). This way it's actually fulfilling.

I did all the armour and had it glow, The white looks pretty, but wish they could make it a on and off function because to me that also looked cool, but after opening up 40 boxs to get better rolled gear for the white glow highest I got was. 59 base, so bought the ornaments and hate the elemental glows, I just want a on and off switch

2 RepliesI unlocked the white glow on my warlock and I heard it unlocks on all characters completed the hunter set and white glow was àlready applied but when I finished my titan and the white glow aint on at all the titan must be bugged or some thing ??
