Just something I was wondering about today, from a lore perspective, who are the other five guardians that go into the raids with our Guardian?
Do those he brings with him die?
Or in terms of canon/lore, does he do everything alone?
I"m just wondering and think maybe it would be a cool thing to address in the lore, like perspectives from more "normal" guardians as ours seemingly does everything.

1 ReplyFor Strikes? Blue and Barry.

1 ReplyTechnically the new raids aren’t out guardian’s doing, Calus acknowledges some from our tribe tangoing with his hive general and Petra sent in a different group for Riven. VoG to SoS has been our character but Bungie has decided to stop saying we’re the first and acknowledge who was actually first.

Our Guardian just has a band of mercenaries with them. We need to be there because that is what is necessary for the victory timeline we have established for ourselves through the bootstrap paradox. This is why we get credited toward accomplishments we never actually did. Destiny is a linear story without choice, like a tale told of "The Legend of The Guardian" to children in times of peace.

My mans and them.

Bungie has opted to leave much of our guardian's lore up to the player's interpretation.

They sorta diminished the central role of our Guardian, apparently after us many other Guardians also came out super strong. So it more like there is the Slayer of Oryx Guardian and a large band of near equals running around. Basically you and everyone else playing are the super strong Guardians.

There is no canonical Fireteam. However that's where the player uses their imagination

It is canon that The Guardian does Raids and some Strikes with a Fireteam. They succeed and don’t die, but are never identified or given any further praise. We don’t know if The Guardians always teams up with the same people or with different people.
