Hunters have the best neutral game in D2.
They have a dodge with a very low cooldown, a double jump, great exotics to pick from and good melee speed.
In exchange for this, their supers are generally trickier to use. This is how they are balanced. Buffing their supers starts to take away their weaknesses and push them over the edge.
They don't need improvements. Seriously.

Hunters have some very good neutral game, but I think Top Tree Dawnblade is the best neutral game. Double Icarus Dash on a 5 sec cool down, providing evasion and faster traversal, heat rises to approach gunfights from crazy angles, and then add in faster ability regen for kills in the air, where it excels more than any other class. It all synergies so well.

You're still a big glowing orange target in the air. Veteran teams aren't going to fall for its tricks so easily. It's the best toolbox for Warlocks in PvP for sure, I wouldn't say it's "the best" in the entire game.

I think you’re getting Heat Rises mixed up with wings of sacred dawn. There’s a reason you see high level players using this successfully all the time, even against other good teams and it’s because it makes you so unpredictable. You can get to so many crazy angles that one simply couldn’t anticipate them all. I do actually think that this is the best class in the game overall for PvP. The combination of crazy good movement and evasion, the best melee ability In the game, the synergy between aerial assault capability and ability regen, and an underrated super. It has me strongly considering hanging up the cloak and putting on a dress.... err.... robes

Let’s call it a dress

Melee speed doesn’t work much if we have no lunge range
-
Come at me bro
was this joke worth it
-
It's FAR worse to have good lunge range and bad melee speed. Ask Warlocks.
-
sure buddy its so bad my liars handshake hunter cant use the perk because the warlock teleported into my face and gave me a high five
-
Of course a warlock would say that you’ve been bugged every season so far, you’ve got the one hit melee range of felwinters lie,we can’t even one shot with a throwing knife
-
But don't forget warlock and titain have one hit melee abilities, titains can even rush and you cant really stop it. But don't worry hunters have "faster" melee so we will get a knife in maybe for 25% of their health, I played multiple characters and by far feel hunters are a tad too squishy, yes dodge can be useful but that just has been nerfed to longer cooldown, yet remains the 1 hit rush for titians. (Happens all the time in trials) hunter dodge is long animation meaning u just take bullets while dodging (no good).
