A few weeks ago I started a second Titan to help move along the power level grind. I got all my pinnacle gear drops on my main Titan, and I hopped in and started working on a couple of the faster pinnacle drops on my second one. Now, this Titan is pretty new. I’ve done the opening mission the cosmodrome, but other than that I haven’t done anything else with him. This means I haven’t worked on the New Light Quests, visited all the planets, or stepped into Crucible with him. Even though I hadn’t done those things yet, all of the standard pinnacle gear avenues suggested they were up & available. I went in and did an introductory strike for Zavala so that the strike playlist would be available for me, then I hopped into the playlist, matched me subclass, and proceeded to do three strikes. However, after finishing the third strike, I did not receive pinnacle gear. I received some legendary arms, but they were at the 1050 cap. But I thought it was just a bug because I hadn’t gone through all the steps to talk to people at the tower. So I went back to the tower, talked to everyone, accepted some introductory bounties from Zavala, still no Pinnacle gear. So I tried the means to an end quest. I did my contact runs, collected umbral traces, and then did the interference mission. But again, after completion, still nothing. Not even powerful gear. Just nothing. So, my questions are this: 1. Can you only receive pinnacle gear the first time you complete pinnacle activities account wide? (Once one character has claimed the pinnacle gear for that activity, no other characters can get it) 2. If there isn’t an account cap on pinnacle gear, is pinnacle gear locked behind each class? (i.e. Once a Titan has claimed pinnacle gear, no other Titans on your account can claim it, but a warlock or hunter can.) 3. If there’s no account or class cap, is pinnacle gear locked behind progression of specific quests? 4. Is it a bug? If it’s as simple as two Titans can’t claim pinnacle gear, then that’s great! I’m cool with that. Just need to know if I should keep investing in this character or if I should delete him and get a warlock. Thanks!
