100% you need to just git gud.
I have like 3000 hrs playing just warlock, I run trials often and get to 5 wins most times and it's a struggle.
I have 200 hrs total (mainly used during factions rallies) of hunter use since the release of D2 and hit 5 wins in trials with not as much of a struggle last weekend first try. Hunters are totally fine where they're at.

Entry level is far too high, crayon munchers have such an easy time getting kills it is not fair, plus the fact that every ability that a warlock has one hits
-
That's factually incorrect.

Something only a crayon muncher would say

Paperback books is my preferred meal, thank you. My titan has about as much use as my hunter, next to nil. No warlock grenade apart from Novawarp subclass can one hit. Standing in one's AOE for extended periods of time can but you can run through them with full health and not die. No warlock melee can one hit. They all are slower to engage in a second melee vs hunter and titan. Warlocks have an increased melee range.

It’s rather common place. If you aren’t rocking high res then yeah I guess you could risk a trade with double melee. But anyone with an unbroken mind would know that is not optimal for streaks in pvp. Far too risky and very stupid in trials unless you’re on a sweaty panic. Shoulder charge however is a rush and panic manoeuvre with little to no input for a high output. Compare that to the fact that you have to land a precision hit with your throwing knife, which has terrible damage tracking in this meta (yet to be addressed on console) like I said, entry level is far lower.

If you couldn’t one hit you can rift then finish off, dodging is actually a disadvantage in pvp as you put you weapon away and have no damage resistance
-
Dodging (along with hunter jumps) is by far the most useful tactic in pvp. If you think even for a second that dodging is a liability then you certainly using it incorrectly and ineffectively.

Haha you can’t kill with your dodge or even damage without wasting an exotic slot, especially considering it’s been nerfed countless times and will likely continue to be nerfed, decreasing the weapon ready up speed and recharge rate, hunters are heading down the drain, you can see for yourself during the most recent iron banner and trials, consisting mostly of op Titans and warlocks constantly one hitting teams into oblivion. I think you’re reminiscing of a time where hunters were the optimal choice. Take a moment to smell the roses pal. Ttk is the be all and end all for pros alike, but I’m sure you’re aware of this with your hundreds of hours counted to a tee.

Anyone who says “got gud “ has a tiny pp

The smallest, but, doesn't make me any less correct.

I feel like tether (bottom tree mainly) needs a buff

Bottom tree is supposed to be a kinda worse GG, but it suppresses. You wanna take out a super, then go in the offensive
