A waste all they keep giving us is shitty weapons revised. As we still don't have time worn spire with random rolls. All armor designs suck tired of the weeb samurai armor sets.

1 ReplyPlayed my wife’s account yesterday. 3 out of the first 4 matches were mercies (2 losses, 1 win). My experience so far has been, “Wait, what just happened?” Teleporting enemies, enemy speeds not really possible, 1 or 2 tapped by weapons that can’t 1 or 2 tap, enemies that seemingly take no damage. When you can’t figure out how you just died, something is off, and everything after that is suspect.

Please add another choice, “S@&t Show”. That’d be more accurate I think.

It was ok, but only because I have low expectations. I had hardly any laggy games and only got 6-stack stomped a couple of times, had some good close games. The Auto Rifle meta is getting a little tedious but its manageable. Would be nice to have more variety though, not just Control.

Pretty good. CBMM seems to have helped make the bounties easier to complete quickly, more balanced win/loss ratio, but the reward drops of IB gear from match completions are still low.

1 ReplyIt really depends on whether you run solo or with a team. More often than not, running with a team results in a better outcome that’s also more enjoyable. On the other hand, if you run solo, it’s gonna be an absolute pain to play.

Worst in 6 years playing this game. I missed one IB, the first one.. I have participated in everyone since and this has to have been the worst of them all. Lack of anything to actually play for, terrible connections.. considering its supposed to be CBMM.. its a crap shoot of what you will get. The problem if you have good internet, if others don't have as good, the limit is extended and you get shitty internet in your lobby. Just like SBMM if there isn't good skilled players, you get lesser skilled or better skilled to round out the team. I'd rather have nothing less than my connection and I don't care how long it takes or how good the player is.. just don't put me in lobbies with players who have terrible connections. Its just not fun.

I only play to get my enhanced perks. if it wasn’t for that I really have no reason to play it.

1 ReplyIron Banner has not been enjoyable for me. The Rng from the packages are terrible. Why would I grind just to go for a turn at a slot machine hoping to even get a forward path. In terms of gameplay. Control is a terrible thing for newer players. Its so easy to steamroll in matches. Just make it clash. I was normally the best performer on my team. It was fun when you encounter another good person and you have a "rivalry" for that match. But the loot incentive is terrible. Way to many blues and inconsistent drops. I don't want another bite of the fox. I wished you could focus stuff. I'm willing to put 45 tokens for a guaranteed forward path. I would grind it out. Just give me my damn loot and I'll like the event. I really don't give a shit about match making. The event was good for armor but now my motivation to play the event is gone.

I get more world drops than IB drops 🤔. I don’t understand their approach to this game mode in D2. Barring nostalgia D1 IB feels way more rewarding. Forgot to mention I picked unenjoyable.

1 ReplyUnenjoyable most definitely CBMM coupled with a really stingy drop rate for the new IB weapons made the event a get it done and get the hell out of the playlist activity.

And then, suddenly, I never die, again. It seems like my damage gets cued. I fire blanks. Still, the whole time I played to complete the four bounties I never lost a single game (well, maybe one). But it is RAGE INDUCING because you see this pattern every time so you know you're being manipulated. Skill doesn't count for much. There's so much manipulation (Catch-up mechanics?) going on in the background you feel as though the game chooses which side wins or loses.

4 RepliesI'm doing pretty much the same this season vs. last in terms of outcomes (wins and bounties,) but I have to sweat a lot more now that the playlist is populated with players of much higher skill than myself (we matched a 5-stack of Primals, geez!) If I don't run the absolute meta like MT/GH, I regret it immediately. On the bright side, the quest is much easier now so you don't have to suffer with suboptimal weapons. There's also Trials on weekends now to pull in many of the sweats, carries and recovs, so if you have no interest in that game mode, then perhaps play IB at that time? Finally, there's sunsetting. I had an absolutely godly Bite of the Fox which got me my Revoker, but is being sunset now. To add insult to injury, it's also being reissued. I've decided I won't be farming for a new one. If it drops, it drops. With farmable raids there's now little point in farming PVP if you're below Gold or even Platinum, the ROI is too low. Overall, I play much less IB now than before. Just enough to get my bounties in and maybe a few games for fun if I can find a team. Definitely not grinding it all weekend like I used to.

Most fun banner I played in D2. Decided that I would not que in alone. Always found friends to drag in And play. Made new friends. Join a random lfg team made more friends. Went on long win streak. Got horrible loot. Held my tokens and didn’t want to pull slot machine for worthless shyt weapons and armor. Overall the only thing that was fun were the matches. Had 2 back to back games were I didn’t get killed. It was refreshing not facing teams of unbrokens every match. Even though I was on a team most of the time. Nobody was flawless, super sweaty it toxic. Team play > solo play. If you have anxiety or social issues I’m sorry. If not find teammates and have fun like the rest of us.

I liked it. Had alot of fun. Didnt bother with the past seasons of IB, used to love IB in D1 and liked it early on in D2 but somewhere on the road it got boring and I stopped playing. This season brought me back into pvp and IB and Ive made alot of new friends both in and outside of the clan.
