I'm still not going to run trials, would rather leave solstice and moments unfinished.

Take the sensible approach. Don't do trials. Sure, your moments of triumph and solstice stuffs won't get completed but this could work in the larger playerbases favour. Bungo will see the lack of interest and the lack of money spent in everworse and will, hopefully, do some remedial work on trials and other parts of the game that need it. The only course of action we have as paying customers is to vote with our wallets and as players vote with our time and participation.

It's pretty sad when a company creates an event that is meant to be casual, to have fun to force players to play other parts of the game because their couch potatoes "need to make money". You know, how their couch potatoes were crying that there weren't enough players playing Trials so I guess this is a way to show numbers huh? Trials is a game mode that is more toxic than anything in this entire game has ever been in 6 years especially today's Trials 🤦‍♂️ I've seen a hell of a lot of dumb decisions this company has made over the years, but this is in the top 10 list of the dumbest decisions this company has ever made. This is the BS we get to look forward to while the WoW guy is at the helm for the next 3 years, all that wonderful talent this company sees that he has to offer this game that has saved this game right? Correct me if I'm wrong, this will be the 3rd Solstice event. The first one went from fun that didn't have many conditions and you could acquire things like the glow packs through the shop for only 1000 bright dust. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xWPuCaYsZI The next one changed adding more conditions and the glows became a profit or you grind a lot to save up bright dust, the catch though, this company removed a lot of the options that we were able to collect that bright dust to how many options do we have now? [spoiler]Yeah, yeah, all you Trials/PvP players saying how it's not that bad, blah blah blah trying to boost your ego just showing how lost you actually are. This game has a variety of players and I can only imagine how the LFG is going to be off the hook with paid carries, a hell of a lot of toxic PvP players that won't even except anyone that has never run trials or rarely plays PvP. All the stupid requirements, checking your stats and if they don't like it, you will be instantly booted from that fire team before you go to orbit. All the crap a lot of the newer players are going to have to deal with that will push players away that may want to run this to complete the event. LFG will chase off players that will end up saying screw this shit.[/spoiler] If this company is trying to chase the player base off, this is a great start to show how they just don't give a crap about what these events were actually created for, that profit and their couch potatoes have become more important then creating a decent game.

Ik you guys love the whole "increase playbase" conspiracy. But how does that help Bungie in anyway? The reason they have it as a challenge is because it's a pinnacle activity. This isn't some secret ploy to get numbers back into trials. Because it doesn't -blam!-ing matter to them. Oh for sure a temporary bump in people playing trials is going to make such a huge difference. It's not like people are going to never play it again once they get 7 wins. Bungie knows that they are likely never going to increase trials player counts until an effective anti cheat is added, and they add some good rewards for people to play it. Stop for a minute, and think. If anything, this decision is harmful to them because it makes a bunch of crybabies not spend money in Eververse. Bungie is a company, they're here to make money. Increasing the player count of trials doesn't increase profits at all. Take your damn tinfoil hats off.

do you not know what free to play means? even if bungie were to ban the cheaters, which they won't, they can easily circumvent the ban by making a brand new account. only an ip ban would put a stop to it, and even that doesn't work as good as it used to.

Yeah trials has been cancer this weekend. You are led to believe from regular crucible and regular elimination that you’re decent at the game. Then you go in Trials and get castrated. My trials KD is always like half of my regular KD. If it’s 1.0 in normal crucible it’s .5 in Trials.

It's much easier to try to force people to do something than invest the time and effort to make them enjoy an activity and want to do it. I have zero incentive to play and instead of 8 hours a day playing Destiny with 3 characters, I'm down to maybe 4 hours a week with one character. I'm actually having more Fun in Anthem (and I've beaten the game and have all the Achievements) than in Destiny - and that's saying a lot.

I can deal with my boots not glowing,and I can live without the moments of triumph title,gave that up because I am not completing Spire Of Stars
