So the lore behind Stasis
Is there anything we know about it?
To me, all stasis seems like to be is ice, so seems kind of silly of an element to harness and if it is, why couldn't it be harnessed anywhere else with ice? Is there something more to it than just being ice if it called stasis, I get the part where it freezes enemies so puts them in a stasis.
Maybe there's something I missed about it or I don't know. Lemme know what there is about it.

It’s ice. Arc and Void are opposites. Solar needs one as well. I mean...the long reveal trailer literally shows shards of ICE glowing with power popping up from the icy ground behind Eris. Just because the Darkness uses the element doesn’t mean it belongs to them. Christ we’ve known this for ages. Show me a Light element...oh wait. There is none!

As far as I understand it it is much more than just ice. It is likely an energy/element that doesn’t naturally occur in the universe. The only reason it exists at all is because the darkness twisted it into being.

13 RepliesIt’s....did you not get the whole theme of where the story is going? It’s a power ripped straight from the Darkness. It’s not “just ice”. It’s Darkness.

We know it's from the darkness And we know that you don't have to be a light bearer to use it (as seen with the fallen)

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that the reason other icy planets don't have stasis is bc they are not shrouded in darkness. Mars has ice, but Europa has all ice and there is an ancient pyramid. 5his pyramid has contaminated Europa and the ice and now it has freezing stasis powers.

While Ice seems to be the central aspect of it Stasis itself is more like draining the warmth and life out of a target
